Disadvantages: spam spam spam it is not wonderful
...version. You have a mail.com save address and block sender for spam which is laborious to use and ineffective as these people change they address every time they send some thing.
An address book a search advertisers feature and calendar which can be used to note appointments are included as features. E cards are available and a few games.
Overall keep away unless you like pop up ads in your face and spam from notorious criminal gangs blocking ...

MAIL.COM AS VERSATILE AS YOU WANT IT TO BE
Review of mail.com by
nipples
Advantages: all the regular email features, web based system, reliable and secure, choice of email addys
Disadvantages: not much
Mail.com is another web based email service like Hotmail, Yahoo, Excite, Bigfoot etc. So why choose Mail.com over any of those?
Well for one thing what do you want from your email? A secure retrievable service. Maybe something memorable as an email address? Well you could choose from several occupations, say like fredsmith@engineer.com - or say you are a Londoner, you could have fredsmith@london.com. Not bad is it - surely a bit more personal ...

Adverts Galore
Review of mail.com by
ali007
Advantages: Free, Fast, Fairly Reliable
Disadvantages: Lots of Adverts
...unwanted junk.
I have been using mail.com for this very purpose for over a year now. Mail.com offers a relatively simple sign up procedure and offers you the choice of many 'domain' address to choose from, which range from @profssional.com to @cutey.com there are many to choose from and you should be able to find one which suites. The mail server itself is fast and writing new mail is a fairly simple task and of course there is a handy online address ...

got mail
Review of mail.com by
BJEEE
Advantages: Very relaible. No lost mail
Disadvantages: Complicated folder set-up
I don't really use my mail.com account that much anymore, but I did/do use it enough to be able to write a reasonable opinion.
I found mail.com by searching for free email sites on yahoo. There was something about it there that made it stand out from the rest. I used it quite successfully for a number of months and never had on problem.
You get a choice of domain names when you first sign up. These are not really the most original names but ...

Another one bites the dust.
Review of mail.com by
naked
Advantages: divert your mail wherever you want it
Disadvantages: Free divert service now stopped, occasionally loses mail.
...was right, after converting the mail.com users to subscription, they are now doing the same to iname. Bye bye !
IF they would guarantee a failsafe service, I might subscribe. But they cant, and while I will put up with the occasional missing mail, or route important stuff to my isp account directly (thus removing the need for a redirect) if I am paying for a service, I expect it to work without error. I dont use on line mail storage, and have never ...

Fast lifestyle!!! even faster free email service
Review of mail.com by
lagall16
Advantages: quick log-in
Disadvantages: spam, not the food type
...why the internet was invented. Mail.com is a very reliable service that has taught me something about real quality consumer online services, and I'm demanding when it comes to online services.
I have 6 email accounts with Mail.com, because I like the variety of domains Mail.com has. The domain list is long and varied, personalising your own email address without going through the palava of committing to a paid service, this is what Mail.com has ...

fetchmail.com
Review of mail.com by
tcorange
Advantages: easy collection of mail
Disadvantages: collects the same mail more than once
I have recently joined fetchmail.com to have all my various ISP's e-mail collected in one place. The first problem I came across was the two of my ISP's cannot have the e-mail collected from them. They appear to only collect mail from pop3 servers, this left my mail from totalise being collected for me. When I went to fetchmail.com to check my mail I found that the had been extremely efficient in their collections, they had collected each mail three ...

Review of mail.com by

Advantages: server works
Disadvantages: slow
www.mail.com offers a free email address which i have been using for several months now i found it to be very reliable and the online help is excellent for the beginner the site is fairly easy to navigate and it is very easy to get into your account to read your emails the speed is a bit of a problem though as at peak times it is almost impossible to login.
i recommend this email service as it is very reliable and easy to use even if it is a bit ...

No mail.com
Review of mail.com by
lula153
Advantages: None!
Disadvantages: Slow, unreliable, deletes your address book!
I’ve had an account with mail.com for a couple of years and had always found it pretty reliable. But when I set off for a year travelling it let me down badly.
When you’re on the road, you meet people and take their email addresses. I got pretty good at putting them straight into my address book but obviously had no backup.
Then mail.com was sold to another company and in the process of changing their computer setup, I had no email system ...
