    On many occasions over the last few years we have used a website owned by a company who specialise in the sales of computer related items online. The website is to be found at www.misco.co.uk Now my husband is somewhat of a techie and he will build PCs to his own spec, rather than buying any new pre prepared items, so this is one of his many haunts.They also sell Desktop Computers and Laptops as well as Notebooks too, so you don't need to be an expert and can buy ready made with ease here.     Misco were formerly known as Simply Computers. I've made 2 purchases from them and I'd be happy to use them again (provided the price is right). Website The website looks very professional and not hard on the eyes. Everything is neatly and evenly laid out. I have never experienced any downtime. Pages are very quick to load and I have never encountered any problems searching or browsing the site, so I have no complaints here. Something about the website that stands out for me is that when you start typing something you want to search for in their search box, it provides results of what ... more

    I have to say I am amazed at the reviews for this company. I've been involved with companies who have used Misco as a primary supplier for IT Equipment for several years now, as well as putting through numerous personal orders for my own computer parts and periperhals. I have recently started my own business in the same sector and had no hesitation in contacting Misco to arrange a Premier Business Account.     This company may be ok for business customers - I draw this conclusion from reading the other reviews here, but, private buyers beware. A very expensive product was purchased for a birthday gift for my son, using the online finance they offer, No problem with the finance , that's not the problem. The package arrived and was only just in time desipte next day delivery costing £9.99 the package arrived 7 days later - direct from supplier, Thats not the problem either.     Misco offer a very quick service. Every product I have ordered in the afternoon prior to 3pm has been delivered the following day. Customer Service in my experience is also very good. Regarding the TV itself - very good, not sure it's worth upgrading over the 37C3030DB (720p version) as to be honest it's difficult to tell the difference as both look extremely good and the 720p 37C can do 1080i. However overall i'm very impressed by the TV. The standard settings are good and the Picture Quality is excellent. I would recommend adjusting the backlight to around 30 for longetivity of the display ... more

    I first discovered a catalogue for Misco 2 years ago, at the time I was looking at buying a Superdisk, they had a very good price on one so I bought it, the order was taken, delivery was within 2 days as promised, no problems so far. Once I had the device the problems arose, resolving the conflict was down to the manufacturer, after 10 months without successfully removing all of the problems I decided that I had had enough.     I have decided to write this revue after far too many problems with Misco (Simply Computers). I have been working at an IT firm for a couple of years and in that time have had cause to order from Misco about 6 times... each time we have had different problems. Problems range from items not being delivered, the wrong items being sent out, the order being lost and having to be re-submit, and their customer support it dreadful!     I have used Misco and Simply (their previous name) for over 7 years as my primary supplier of IT goods. I run a medium sized IT operation with over 20 PC's and other systems. We previously spent in excess of 10k per annum and had a premiere managed account. I finally stopped using them this week due to their sheer inflexibilty and the awkwardness of using their "customer service" department.     I bought a Acer Aspire 9423WSMi Notebook from Misco. It arrived quickly, however it was dead on arrival. It wouldn't switch on, the battery appeared to be charging but all the LED's went off when trying to power up. Misco agreed this was a faulty unit but refused to replace it. They claimed I had to sent it back to Acer for repair, leaving me without my laptop for up to 3 weeks. Firstly I paid for new laptop not a repaired one, I also paid to have it delivered quickly so I could use it for my studies, why should I now have to wait weeks?
