    I first heard about them from a friend. I thought why not give them a try after all it's only £2.99 plus 50 postage. Well I must admit they made the right impression from the very first contact. They have a phenominal range of DVD's for you to choose from and must have something to cater for everyone's taste. They site is very well laid out and 99% of the titles have a thumbnail of the cover to make sure it is the title you think it is and not some old black and white version of the same film.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Some popular DVDs are often out of stock.

    Are you always frustrated when you find that the DVD you want to rent in your local video store is either: a) Not stocked b) All copies are currently being rented c) Is only available on a one-night rental ???????? Well, I am! As a huge film fan... and additionally a fan of all things modern, technical and sexy... i.e. DVDs! I own a fairly large collection of DVDs ranging from the classic Bond movies, to modern 'classics' such as 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'.     Movietrak is a site for renting DVD's if you can't face leaving the house. It's also comparable in price to renting from your local Blockbuster, but you get these movies for a week instead of 1 or 2 days. The site has many different pages and lists the movies in genres. New Releases, Thriller, Horror, Comedy etc. Each genre has it's own list. The homepage has FAQ's and also quotes from the media as to how good they are.     I think this is a first in the uk. on the internet. It appears to look very good. www. movietrak.com. This site is a dvd movies rental site, it has lots of up to date films/movies to rent for £2.99. This covers a 9 day period. What you have to do is click on the movie that interests you then you can get more info on the film. If you would like to rent it, then you place your order, using your credit/debit card.     I’m sure that a lot of you this Christmas got a DVD player. You’ve been used to the faded colours and soundtrack hissing of VHS and realized you couldn’t take it anymore. Some may think that DVD’s cost more to buy than videos. That is true if you decide to do your shopping on the high street. However if you keep your eyes peeled then you can buy DVD’s for next to nothing online. Now I don’t rent out DVD’s, I don’t have the need. If I want to see a film then I’ll simply pick it up cheap, if it’s good then it’s a keeper, anything bad can be easily traded or sold for the same price, if not more ... more

    How can it be possible for a company (Movietrak.com) to make a profit? But I guess they must do as they keep on going. Simply put, you place your order for your DVD on their site (including all the latest releases), enter your credit card details, and then sit back and wait for them to come. That's the theory, and shockingly enough it's the practise too. Yes, it actually works exactly like that. Once you get the DVD you have them for a week, before popping them into the self seal - post paid, reply envelope, and posting them (normal 1st class post).     No Time Limits!! Pay a monthly fee and keep your DVDs for as long as you like. The best thing about Movietrak is the passiveness of the whole process, you spend a while building up your 'Q' then sit back and wait for the movies to arrive in the post. The DVDs arrive two at a time, you watch them at your leisure - there is no time limit, we went on holiday last month and ended up having the same DVD for over 3 weeks, no problem! Can you imagine the fine we would have had to pay from the likes of Blockbuster? We pay £13 per month and can keep the DVDs Movietrak send as long as we want, obviously ... more

    Have been using this service for a week now, i have signed up to a 30day free trial where i recive 2 dvds at a time, normal price £13.95 p/m. You select 20 or more DVD's you want to recieve from their site and list them in priority order. They send you the closest ones they have to the top of your list. Simple as that. They also provide you with the envelope postage paid to send it back. I recived my first two dvds two days after signing up and have been getting two more two days after i post the back each time so a very quick service.
