    I came across this website a while back, and was really interested in the free 20 prints it offered. Having just been on holiday to France, my photos were just waiting to be printed into hard copies rather than in digital form only, so I decided to sign up and take the offer last Thursday (21st July 2005). Sure enough, the free 20 prints offer is still going, so I uploaded my 20 favourites onto the website, and followed the procedure. Here's what I found out...     Having two children I am always taking pictures of them like any proud parent, I have taken a lot more pictures of my 25 month old son, as digital cameras have taken over which means you can snap away and take as many pictures as you like which can be stored and edited on your computer. I have a preferred photo printing site that I use whenever I need or want pictures printed or gifts made from my pictures.     I love taking photos and take my camera everywhere. As a result I get loads of great photos that I want to print. I have a small printer that prints 6 x 4 but as it costs about £30 for an ink cartridge and 100 sheets of gloss paper, working out at 30p per print, this isn't the most cost effective way to print my many photos.     Hi all - I know its been a while since I've written a review but the baby takes up loads of my time these days!! Anyway, I've found this website which I love and had to tell you about it!! Its www.snapfish.co.uk. With the new baby I've never used the digital camera so much in my life! Every smile, frown, new movement I'm there with my camera! Poor thing its like the paparazzi for her with all the camera flashes!     I was terribly disappointed in Snapfish.co.uk. I have used several other online photo processing sites (mostly when I lived in the USA: shutterfly, walgreens, walmart) without any problems. I have always found them easy to use and very good quality. Last year, my husband and I were married in the USA. We then held a wedding reception party when we got back to the UK (for all the people that couldn’t make the long trip over to the states for the wedding).     Snapfish: I love taking photos, I’m not the world’s best photographer but I enjoy it and sometimes I take really good photos. I have to admit I do like quirky photos, ones that capture the spirit of the person or thing you are photographing. For instance by favourite picture of my brother has him pulling a stupid face, my favourite of the other half is him really laughing and my favourite of my Mum is with her smiling naturally.     I usually print my photos off myself, or use the self service machines in Boots if I want just one of two one more professionally. I recently had a big album of 40+ photos I wanted printed for a project and a friend recommended me a site called Snapfish, saying she always used them for her photos and worked out a lot cheaper for her. I checked out Topcashback and they were giving £5 cashback for new customers, on top of that Snapfish were giving 40 free small prints per new customer.     Like a lot of digital photographers, after I've shared my pictures on Facebook and looked at them on the screen, I never get around to ordering prints. Using the machines in stores hardly makes getting prints any more convenient than with a conventional film camera (not that there aren't a gazillion other benefits from going digital) and I for one am just too lazy to bother!     Snapfish are an online digital photo printing service that allow you to upload your digital photos onto a website, organise photos and order prints and enlargements, as well as a range of products printed with your images. I think that Photobox is their main rival to Snapfish and they offer pretty much the same service and pricing, so I have to admit that my choice was a little arbitrary. New customers currently receive 40 free prints on both websites (and a few others), so it is tempting to go round them all and paying nothing for prints.     A few weeks ago I received an email from snapfish.co.uk asking me to join up, and offering me 10 free prints. I just deleted it thinking it was just another company after my money. However, a few days later, I received an email from my boyfriend saying that he had joined snapfish.co.uk and that I should do too. This is when I took a closer look at it. i also couldn't find anywhere where it said that you had to buy more photos off them once you had received your free photos. i presume the free photos are just for offer for joining up and there is no catch!
