Advantages: Free, 20 free prints when you join. Disadvantages: None really!
I have recently started using Snapfish as a place to store my photographs as recently when the laptop I use went wrong I lost some really important photograhs to me and luckily I'd already uploaded some of them to receive my free 20 prints when you join Snapfish (you pay 99p postage for them).
You upload your photographs to Snapfish and then select which prints you would like to receive free (new members only). I paid the 99p postage via credit ... ...just 9p each after your initial free 20 have been used up.
Snapfish also do personalised gifts which is great with Christmas coming up! They sell Christmas Cards, Calendars, Photo Books, Mugs, Posters, Stationery, Collage Gifts, Mousemats, Clothing, Canvas & Acrylics, Gift Certificates and items such as Jigsaw Puzzles (Great for a young relative or perhaps your Great Aunt!!)
I find that the prices are very competitive as you have the likes of Asda ...

Advantages: None to date Disadvantages: As per the review
I am sorry to say that snapfish appears to have gone downhill massively since most of the reviews on this site were written. I placed an order for a christmas gift (a mug) four days before their stated christmas delivery cut-off. As of 30th December and 3 calls to their 0870 number the mug has not even yet been made. 2 of those calls were made on December 23rd (3 days after the mug should have arrived and with no contact at all from snapfish) when ... ...deadline would be sent special delivery to arrive Christmas eve. I specifically asked both times whether I should go and buy a different gift and was assured that there was no need. Of course, no delivery was made. I am afraid to say that their customer care is way below average. It is simply not acceptable for their order section of the website still to be saying estimated delivery date 20th December a full 10 days later with no further updates. ...

Quick review of snapfish.com
I ordered a mug with some photos for delivery in 5-8 working days &, guess what, its a no show. Fair enough - its near to Christmas I will simply speak to customer services to find out what was happening. BIG MISTAKE - its a premium rate number & I waited & waited for 30 mins and then was told the office had closed. I have tried several times to call - found out that their HO number is 01344360000 [cheaper!] & still I cant get through to speak to someone let alone find out what is going on....... Maybe it will arrive - maybe not - whatever way I will be taking the up on their 100% refund guarantee. One to avoid. ...

Advantages: ok if extremely simple order Disadvantages: Never inform you of problems, just wait for you to chase them.
I've used Snapfish several times. If your order is extremely straightforward and you have no need of customer service then Snapfish is good. If, however, anything goes wrong or you have any queries, they are pathetic. I sent a batch of 100 photos for printing and had to chase them for several weeks until I was told that one of the files was corrupt and it would take them at least another week to find and identify it so I couldn't have any of the ... ...and cancelled the order. I used pixum instead and all the pictures arrived (from Germany!) in 3 days. I sent Snapfish ONE picture for processing on a one hour service. I've been waiting a month. When I email or call them they say "sorry, we'll look into it" and apparently don't. Snapfish never notify you of any problems, they wait for you to chase them, and then do nothing about it.
Finally, having had enough of Snapfish I tried to close my account ...

Advantages: Bundle ischeap, delivery free at Jessops (if they find your pics in the shop lol) Disadvantages: photos cropped and messed, framing messed, customer service non-response once you require refund
Heya, I would not recommend them if you want a non-stressful experience or need your photos quick:
- once I had finished to upload, I was offered by the system the best option of going for a smaller, special digital photos format, which obviously I followed... to end up having all my photos (wedding pics) cropped, with people missing, heads "cut" etc...
- it takes a week for the order to arrive, even if you ask for it to be delivered at Jessops...
... ...say you want a refund not a replacement (you have to send the pics for them to "investigate' and then eventually they will take action.... we can't wait another what, 3 weeks to send our thank you cards!). Then they suddenly become silent!
USELESS USELESS... better pay a few more pence and get a proper service and after sale service ...

Advantages: For photos, quick and easy Disadvantages: Online customer service appalling!!!!
If you just want photos then you can't go wrong but don't think you'll get any help from the online customer service because it's AWFUL. I ordered a photo mug which I picked up in Jessops but it turned out to be chipped. I requested a refund through the online form and waited for them to contact me. All I have had is a succession of unhelpful emails saying that someone is dealing with it and nothing more. I finally rang up and spoke to a very helpful ... ...would get a refund. Then.....nothing! I emailed again and receieved another 'somone is dealing with it email. It's rubbish. They owe me 8.99 and I am no nearer getting my money back. I shall have to ring again and it is a complete and utter pain. I am tempted never to use them again because of this experience!! Beware!!!! ...

Advantages: Quality printing at a value price; HP / Jessops partnership Disadvantages: Must rethink the total experience or be swept aside in the photo sharing boom
Snapfish is HP's online photo sharing and printing service, delivered in partnership with Jessops. They have HP's passion for customer service and expertise in the digital age, and the Jessops credibility in quality photography - and it's a combination that mainly delivers leading results. At time of writing, 6x4 prints are 10p and 7x5 19p each - pitching Snapfish 20-40% below Kodak (although at time of writing Kodak is offering 10p prints). I've ... ...quality terms all are decent and none is exceptional in its standard quality. Snapfish I would judge to be in the middle of this tightly clustered pack in quality and at or near the bottom in price - so value is good.
Living near a Jessops store, I usually opt for in-store collection which both saves a delivery fee and means I can check the prints while standing in front of someone who can help if there's a problem. I find it really useful that ...

Advantages: free prints, Disadvantages: don't stand out agains competitors
After Abby was born, as you can imagine we have already got hundreds of photos sitting on the pc waiting to be printed. I was directed to Snapfish by the lure of 20 free 6x4 prints as a new customer. Always one for a bargain, I quickly joined up via the usual process of supplying a user name, password, email address and of course the address to send your snaps to.
Snapfish are a product of Hewlett Packard, and are originally based in America. The storage facility of Snapfish is a free service, and you have unlimited storage space to hold your photos, and share them with other people should you wish.
It's a good way of letting your family and friends see the pictures you have of loved ones of they live far away, and saves emailing them ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: poor quality and non existent customer service
I have used Snapfish on several occasions for online photo printing and have always been pleased with the results. Until recently that is! The last batch of photos received of very poor quality. The process for communication was so bad that it was almost funny. It was appalling. Replies were received which failed to address the issues raised in my e-mails. They were seldom received from the same person, so there was no continuity. They photos were ... ...the originals and were still unsatisfactory. Another long exchange of e-mails was, followed by another return, and a request for a refund as per their guarantee. No apology or explanation has ever been received. 2 weeks later the refund still has not been received either. Maybe I was just unlucky, but USE SNAPFISH AT YOUR PERIL - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! ...

Advantages: Local pick up Disadvantages: Low quality prints from a high quality 5mp camera
Snapfish are an online photo storage and developing service that allow you to upload digital photos from your camera and store them in online albums. From here you can order prints to be delivered. You can also give friends access to your albums so they can view them and order prints themselves.
I ordered a set of photos online which were taken with my 5mp Canon Ixus 50 which is high enough quality to produce A3 prints. For some reason the 6"x4" ... ...visible on the original photos before upload. This must be something to do with the way they process images that have been uploaded to save space on their server or something like that.
On the plus side, they let me pick the photos up at my local Jessops in the town centre, although other companies must also offer this service. You could obviously pay extra to have the prints posted to you, but to save yourself the extra cost it's possible to pick ...

Advantages: Cheap, convenient Disadvantages: Slow if you have dial up
Snapfish is a website where you can upload you photos and also have them developed.
I started using it when a friend sent me some pictures on it and as I am currently travelling I thought it woud be a great way to send some photos home to show everyone what I have been up to.
I was slightly concerned about the cost though and was really pleased when I found that not only is it free but you also get 20 free prints when you sign up.
The website ... ...an album and then by clicking on the 'upload photos' you can select the photos you want to upload from your computer, disc, flashdrive etc. Bewarned though, if you have dial up and have lots of pictures this can take a long time. You can create as many albums as you want.
The photos are then displayed to you in an attractive way and you then have a number of options. You can create boarders, edit etc and you can also share them with your friends. ...

Advantages: Cheap, Site fairly self explanotory Disadvantages: Returns are nigh on impossible, staff are not very helpful
After reading the reviews I thought this would be a great site to go to get some holiday snaps developed. Almost everything that was said was true. The pictures were cheap, the web site is easy to use and the service was fast. Within a few days I had recieved my pics in the post, and I was shocked. They were pixilated, and you could'nt see the images for all of the squares! Which SnapFish tried to blame this on the quality of the memory card the ... ...plenty of quality pictures from other online stores.
After going back to snap fish for a refund, i filled in the online form as requested. After 2 weeks I still hadnt heard anything back, so I emailed, and recieved no reply. So i called, and when i eventually managed to speak to someone I got told to fill in th form again! After a month, of hearing nothing from them, no response from emails, i finally managed to speak to the CSM.
I would advise ...

Advantages: Easy to use, high quality photos, cheap Disadvantages: None really
I have recently discovered Snapfish, an online way to process your digital prints. I'm usually a bit sceptcial as to these websites and prefer to pop down to Boots, but I decided to be brave and give it a go. After all Snapfish is owned by HP, so I thought it would produce quality prints - and I was right!!

Secondly, you need to create an account. You need to insert your name, ... ...you've created your account. Fairly simple. Just for creating an account, you get 10 free prints.
Ok, after creating an account, theres many things you can do. You can allow other people to view your photos - and share them with your friends and family. To upload your photos to an album, you simply click ...

Advantages: easy to upload, great quality, reasonably priced prints Disadvantages: none that I have encountered
I've been signed up with Snapfish for a while now and have had a couple of orders with them. I found them through Greasypalm and got £1.25 in cashback for joining and its the best photo ordering site I have come across yet.
Firstly as a special introductory offer you get 20 free prints - whats the catch I hear you ask - well there wasn't one - amazing I know. Instead of the usual expensive add ons of postage it was a very reasonable 99p. After checking ... ...it was true. However I went to the album and I easily uploaded photos from a disc that I had already saved them onto from my camera. I also had a couple that were in files and that was easy to with the easy to use search for pictures window. That was on the Friday and I received them on the Monday. Quick and cheap - I was still sceptical while opening them, but, for once I was happy to be proved wrong. The quality of the prints were fantastic. Even ...
