Is there anyone at home

AdvantagesNone

DisadvantagesObvious waste of time

"What was introduced to the internet as a great British alternative to all the U.S schemes that exist appears to have failed to germinate and is still laying either dead, dormant or defunct! The seed was planted over a year ago in April 2000 and was going to be watered and fertilized by the British internet fraternity and by a flock of advertisers. It would then sprout into something wonderful, sending us all e-mails that we would get paid for in ..." SpamAndChips.co.uk-paid e-mails

Advantages

Disadvantages

"This is a new paid to receive e-mail site, the reason that I got to it is that Loquax have a link to the site because “Spam And Chips” have a free monthly prize draw to win one of those little Smart cars. Yet again, it is a referral based pay site and if you sign-up 5 people you can get a free flight to Brussels, but if you sign-up 10 people you get two flights to Brussels. They are also promising to give you free samples, cheap offers etc. Even if ..." Read review

Where are the emails?

AdvantagesGet paid in pounds; up to £1 per email

DisadvantagesNot sending emails out just yet

"It seems so long ago that I joined SpamAndChips, hoping to make a bit of extra cash. What made this company different from all the others with similar boasts was this one is based in Britain and pays in pounds so there are no bank charges to pay. You can earn between 5 and 100 chips (their virtual currency) for each email you receive, plus commission on your direct referrals. The exchange rate will change, but is quaranteed always to be at least 1p ..." Read review

Chips with everything

Advantagesnew, and seems as though it could pay well

Disadvantagesfluctuating exchange rate?

"This seems to be a fairly new program, and looks like it's trying to build up a member base, as well as sorting out its advertising revenue. Having said that, it may be a good idea to get into it on the groundfloor. In order to encourage you to get in; if you join, and refer five friends or colleagues, you'll receive a free flight to Brussels on Virgin Express. (Although it mentions nothing about a ticket to fly back!). It's basically a paid for ..." Read review

No Chips

Advantagesfree to join

Disadvantagesseemingly inactive

"This is yet another of those opt-in services that is meant to pay a few pennies for each email [and for those sent to referrals]. The site promises a great deal, but it is not clear that it has delivered anything at all after MANY months ... or even that it will ever go 'live'. The site launched in the UK in April 2000. Presumably they need to build a large user base but one would imagine, after such a long period, that paid emails could have started ..." Read review

I want a free flight!

AdvantagesFree flight, earning varies, unique way of sharing the success of the company

DisadvantagesI haven't got enough referals for a free flight!

"This is a great new site that pays you to read emails. It is unique in that you are paid not in cash but in chips which can be exchanged for goods or services or cashed in. The amount of chips earnt on each email varies, although they have a minimum of five chips per email. The amount each email is worth also varies depending on how much revenue the company makes, although each chip is worth a minimum of 1p so this means you get a minimum of 5p per ..." Read review

could be good

Advantagessterling cheques

Disadvantagestoo early to tell

"Spam and Chips is a Uk money for email scheme. I found it quite by chance on altavistas search engine. Basically they will pay 5 chips per email to you. The chips are like a currency that can go up or down BUT you will never get less than 5 p per email. It just depends how well the company is doing as to what the chip is worth so you could more per email. Its in the early stages of collecting a database of members -so you aint gonna get mail the next ..." Read review

They have had thier chips

Advantagesnone

Disadvantageswaste of time

"I signed up nearly two months ago and have had not one single email this looks like another site that promises the earth and then does not deliver. What gets me they are still advertising for people to sign up with offer of giving away a free car a month. Within this 2 months and no one has won a car unless they are not just telling people who won them. My advice avoid this site as I have been receiving lots of Spam since I signed up maybe it’s ..."
