This site is a fairly different one to the other on-line auction sites as accumulatable points called swapits are introduced. Still similar with other auction sites where you can place an item and set a minimum and maximum value (max value can only be min value's 15 times), describe the item briefly, then put it on auction for 7 days. I joined up with swapitshop.co.uk pretty much as soon as it was advertised, thinking it would be a great way to get rid of some 'stuff'. I duly signed up and put up my 'swaps'. I received my 'swapits' the currency with which you 'bid' for items you want and sat back and waited. Disadvantages: It is designed for children which could put you off.
