    Advantages Advantages cheap

Disadvantages Disadvantages not very good at all... overpowering unnatural minty taste

Sometimes in life, buying the cheapest version of something isn't always the best idea. Just ask anyone buying Goochi and Versarchi knock-offs from a stall in Wembley market... "honest guv'...Rollex does have 2 L's". I'm a firm believer in the old adage 'you get what you pay for'...unlike Tottenham looters who believe in 'you get what windows you smash in'. Having moved from England a few years ago, one thing I miss is the cheap toiletries available in the UK. Honestly folks....try living in Israel where no can of deodorant is less than the equivalent of 3 English pounds and no toothpaste is ... more

Advantages Advantages price, flavour, scent, does as it needs to

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing fancy...

When it comes to toothpaste, I am not overly fussy. I like to keep my teeth healthy, but I do not need any special toothpaste as my teeth and gums are healthy. Ordinarily I'd stay clear of supermarket's lowest priced own options, but Tesco were out of their 40p toothpaste, meaning I was left with the decision of paying over £1, or paying 30p for Tesco's Value toothpaste, a quickly made choice left me with the Tesco Value toothpaste. Now despite the fact that it is only ten pence less than Tesco's other, non-value, toothpastes, I didn't exactly have high hopes. The product comes in a white tube ... more

Advantages Advantages Basic packaging, easy to use, fantastically low price.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Had to rinse my mouth quite a lot, not particularly flavoured.

I must admit that I love a good bargain but toothpaste is generally something that I would never scrimp on. My Mum had brought this as a trial because it is just 30p for a 75ml tube and therefore when I stayed over at hers recently I thought I'd better give it a little try. It is provided in a standard toothpaste tube with a plastic screw cap at the end and the tube is squeezable. This is provided inside a white cardboard box and there is no expense spent on this packaging it's just basic white with the Tesco Value logo but I wouldn't expect anything more for the price of 30p. The toothpaste ... more

Value is range of basic products from Tesco. Value Toothpaste The Tesco Value Toothpaste claims to freshen breath and remove plaque. It has been approved by the British Dental Health Foundation and is suitable for adults and children over the age of 6. The tube is white, blue and red with a flip top cap. Once opened the toothpaste should be used within 12months. The tube comes housed within a cardboard box with all the relevant information on it. The toothpaste can be bought from www.tesco.com or from Tesco stores. It is priced at only 30p for a 75ml tube. My Thoughts I originally purchased ... more

Advantages Advantages It's cheap ... that's about it!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Taste, Freshness Doesn't Last and more.

As things have got quite tight recently, me and my other half decided it was time to start cutting down a bit. So off I went to Tesco as I have sampled some of their Value range and was pretty impressed for their low prices. And for just 17p, I thought that their toothpaste was worth a go. So here are my experiences! The Box Like most Tesco Value products, it has the red, blue and white theme and I will admit - it does look quite cheap. None the less, it is only a box, and still has all of the normal things listed: Ingridients, don't use after it has been opened for 12 months, children should ... more

---Why I Bought It--- During these hard times lots of people are cutting back as much as possible and I have been trying out various 'Value' products - this toothpaste being one of them. ---The Product--- This toothpaste comes in a 75 ml tube within a cardboard box. The tube is a basic white plastic tube with a white screw top which also has a flip top. The product is approved by the British Dental Health Foundation. Produced in China, it sates to use the product within twelve months of opening. This toothpaste contains fluoride. ---Cost--- 30p. ---My Opinion--- Have been buying this 75ml tube ... more
