    Tesco.com is a great site to do your shopping. You can do all your shopping from this one site. This site also has some other great offers such as banking deals and money saving offers. One offer that was on the site (Jan 2002) was a Fuji Digital Camera at only £99.95! They also do other great offers on Music and Films. They even offer a wide selection on clothes. Other parts of the site that are good are the ‘recipes’ part or the ‘baby’ section, helping people. The section of the site where you do your shopping is excellent.     I'm sadly excited - I've just completed my first order with tesco direct and I was impressed with the site - now all i have to do is wait for the delivery on monday!     We have been using the Tesco Direct delivery service for over 18 months now, it started off with my wife having her leg plastered after an accident and me not having time to go shopping after work so the idea of getting someone to do my shopping for me was fantastic. OK so it would cost me £5 but with the cost of petrol to the store and back and the fact that it would take me a good couple of hours I thought it was well worth it.     I have come to hate supermarket shopping. Because I work full-time, I can only go at the busiest shopping times and it’s a nightmare. By the time I’m done (and I’ve tried it at all times of the day and night but it’s always the same), my feet hurt, I’m sweating, at least one of the back’s of my ankles has been maimed by someone with trolley rage, I’m tired and I’m in a right old mood.     Advantages Advantages No need to visit store and reasonable charge for delivery.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Danger of over-charging. Delivery times are hit and miss and you don't always get what you want.

    You shouldn't allow men to accompany you to the Supermarket once they get beyond the age at which you can take them up that rather quiet aisle where they have the nappies, smack the back of the leg, wag your finger, and say "you wait until I get you home". Nor should they be allowed to go on their own. They refuse to take shopping lists, and come back with a bag of apples, two vanilla slices and a newspaper as the week's shopping. A gentle enquiry as to other items which they might have bought will get the response "Vegetables? Oh, no, they didn't have any." So, when you've got a bad back, a ... more

    I have been using Tesco’s online shopping since the beginning of the year and I truly believe it merits my opinion. The £5 delivery charge is fine because a) I would spend more than that in petrol driving to the nearest Tesco and back and b) As I spend quite a lot of money I amass Clubcard points that give me approximately £5 of money off vouchers every couple of months which I look at as buy one delivery get one free.     I’m sure that when most of you think of Tesco.com you think of Grocery’s and you weekly/monthly shopping. Well, if that’s what springs into you mind then I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what Tesco.com has to offer. When first open the Tesco.com page you are faced with quite a lot of different options, all in a blue theme. For a first time visitor it can seem a little confusing as there are options along the top of the page, as well as down the side.     Having read a number of the opinions on Tesco.com the internet shopping service I have felt that people have been more negative than the service deserves. I have been using it for nearly a year now and whilst the occasional thing has gone wrong, then they are always prepared to take products back if they are not suitable. As for one persons comments about products not being available, well that is still true if you go shopping yourself. Anyway, more details for those of you who don't know what I am talking about.     Well i gave Tescos shopping online service a go although my wife was not to keen on the idea but guess what... she is now truly hooked and the only problem is getting to the store to spend clubcard vouchers. We started about 6 months ago and have not looked back. We were regular shoppers at Tesco anyway so when i became the owner of a computer i thought lets give it a go.
