I have myself ordered number of gifts from this site for my Nephew on his birthday or just to surprise him.     Advantages Advantages So bad it was quite funny at times. Like slapstick for the retail industry.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Customer service, Delivery, Pricing, Promptness, Being unable to do what you pay them for.

    I ordered a swimsuit for a small baby (product now discontinued - named 'Happy Nappy Costume - Pink and Mango Medium') on the 10 March 2012. I paid approx. £18 for this (including the mysterious 'delivery charge' of £5). This £5, being no small sum, you might expect to buy you the peace of mind of a courier or recorded delivery. Not so, dear reader! They send things 1st class, although if you return a product they demand that you use recorded delivery or courier- because they need to guarantee proof of postage.     TheKidsWindow.co.uk is a large site which offers all manner of products for children, from baby clothes to pushchairs and children's bedroom items. There are a lot of products on there, which can sometimes be a bit confusing, but there's a type-in search box which seems to work well. If you have the time to browse, there are some really unusual products on there, such as the bedroom wall stickers I ordered for my son (which saved us redecorating, and which he loves!).     The kids window from our experience is a dreadful company. will never order from them again. 14 day delivery time quoted, so we ordered well in advance of my daughters birthday (bunk beds). 14 days came and went, no delivery. Phoned up once again to be told they will be delivered on Saturday. Waited in all day, no delivery. Called them, only to be told that I'd get a call back. Waited, no callback. called again on Monday, callback. waited, no callback.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Poorly trained staff mean getting the products is a headache.

    From my experience this is a very amateur set-up. I have ordered from them once before without a problem, but on this occasion was looking for bunk beds and mattresses at a cost of over £600.00. Prior to placing the order I clarified that they could deliver on a saturday and what notice they needed for delivery date as the items were being delivered to a property I do not live in full time, 2 hours away from my main home. I was told weekend delivery was not a problem and calling at the beginning of the week would ensure delivery that weekend. I paid for my items 6 weeks before I needed them ... more

    I ordered a bookcase from the kids window and was given a delivery date of 10 working days - a month later and i am still waiting!! I repeatedly called customer services and they kept taking my number and saying some one will call me back - no one ever did. Finally I called and made sure I took the persons name - some one called Stacey - who said that the bookcase was out of stock but was due in on Thursday and would be delivered at the beginning of the following week.     This has got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately I did not look at reviews on the Kids Window before I ordered bunk beds. The money left my account almost straight away. Once the expected delivery time had passed I sent emails and left messages for them to contact me. Finally I was called back (the number on their website goes to a answering service) and told someone would call me within 2 days to set up delivery, of course this did not happen so I called back and was told that someone would call that afternoon.     I ordered a midsleeper bed with a desk for my son's Christmas present on the 8th December 2011. Delivery was promised before Christmas. After repeated calls the bed finally arrived in February minus the desk. I had just moved house and ordered delivery to a different address from the address my card was registered at they took payment on the 8th December but did not process the order. Their website allows this and I received no phone call querying this. So they had my money from the 8th December but did not deliver till February.     Ordered a childs desk from Thekidswindow 3 weeks ago..no e-mail or details of the order...they cashed my money that day...3 weeks later...NOTHING..no order no. no delivery date...NOTHING.....AND HERES THE THING. 30+ calls AND EACH TIME ITS A "LEAVE YOUR NAME /TELEPHONE NUMBER .."THEY" note that "THEY"...not "WE" will get back to you....THEY NEVER HAVE.!!! Is KIDSWINDOW going bankrupt or something...i see other people are getting the same response.
