    This is an online mobile phone company, who offer mobile phones and mobile phone contracts with all the usual mobile phone companies. (I wanted to list this review under Buyer Beware, but I'm unable to as have already submitted a Buyer Beware review for another company, and you can only submit one review per category.)     In August of 2005 I signed up online to a contract with the 3 network through the 'themobs.com' website. Thinking that I was getting discounted line rental of £1.99 per month (Talk and text 600) I gave my bank and other details and it was not until the phone arrived that I discovered that I would be paying the full amount of the plan (£30.00 per month) direct to the 3 network. The so called discount would be returned by way of redemption vouchers to be submitted with supporting paperwork after six months and twelve months.     I took out a mobile phone on the 3 network which claimed to give you two lots of cash back at month 6 and 12 on the condition you returned the original delivery note and cash back voucher between the specified dates on the voucher. Additional paperwork enclosed encouraged you to "promote" the company and earn yourself an extra £20 per person who took out a phone with them. Stupidly I took out a second mobile phone for my daughter and recommended my partner to take one out. I sent my first cash back claim as instructed by recorded delivery.     My contract recently came up for renewal, and after buying out of the back of the papers for the last 4 years i decided to search for some deals online instead this year. I have been on Orange for the last 2 years, using the Nokia 6230i for the last 12 months. I wanted to stick with a Nokia, the network didnt really bother me though as long as i got a good deal (and obviously it had to work in my area).     After having a bad experience with a 12 month contract mobile I swore that I would never get another contract phone!! But after having a pay as you go for a year or two and finally getting fed up of never having credit it when I needed it I decided to try again.     12th Nov, signed up to new mobile phone and contract online with themobs.com that said monthly line rental was 30 pence. The following email was received: ''Thank you for ordering from themobs.com, your order number is : 16701 If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact customer services on Tel :0870 111 0125 If you are transfering your current mobile number, please contact one of our team members with your PAC code.''     On seeing the adverts for unbelievable deals I checked them out and found an even greater choice. I decided to choose a LG u8130 on the "3 "network with 500 minutes anytime and crossnetwork + 100 Texts. It was offered with a leather case, stereo headphones, 3 months insurance and all for £9.99 a month for 12 months!!     I thought I had found the best deal ever when I purchased a Nokia 7600 from DIAL A PHONE , how wrong can you be. themobs.com have an excellent home page where you can browse the latest offers by network and phone type. They are open and honest with a frequently asked questions section. A contact us link gives real phone numbers which I found reassuring. I ordered late at night with the item flashing limited stock (WHAT COULD I EXCPECT £4.99 FOR 500MINS AND 100 TEXTS, ANYTIME!! = PLUS ALL THE EXTRAS YOU COULD EVER NEED), they promised next day delivery if you ordered before 4pm.     I bout a phone from themobs.com on June 2005 and in the packige said is 12 months free line rental via cash back in 6 and 12 months. After 6 months i send my original delivery note and my bill with coupon to themobs.com by recorded delivery on December so i call them and ask did you recive my claim, they confirm yes so i need to wait 28 working days to get my cash mack after 28 days i call themobs and ask what happing to my cash back the man said yes your cash back is on the way and you will receving withing next 10 working days (lai).     Deal I came across one of themobs.com adverts on google in May 2005 offering the Motorola C975 with 12 Months Free Line Rental on 3's talk & text 600 -(500 mins + 100 texts anytime/network). I called their sales line to confirm this deal as it sounded like it was an error on their site, they assured me that it was a valid deal but was only available for 2 more days, the lovely lady on customer services advised me of the terms of the deal, feeling more confident about the deal i decided to read further into the offer.
