They used to offer top games for £1 but it was a 50:50 chance that you'd get them. I've had two very different experiences with the slammer and while I appreciate what they are trying to do, my most recent experience has soured my opinion so much that I will never be using the service again. I receive regular emails from the slammer telling me about latest offers and mid February 2000 they had an offer on a Playstation 2 for £150 for one weekend only. I have to admit to not purchasing anything as yet from the Slammer.com but I have received three of their free games (you only pay for postage) and so I am very impressed, but while searching their site, I have come across some amazing deals on Playstation games etc. Everything you want for your Computer & Playstation is on here at fantastic prices, and I don't know how they do it. ...a few weeks running, the titles are not always available as they have run out, but they do e-mail you to let you know if this is the case. The games are not naff either. My daughter had always wanted Wipeout 3 after playing the demo, and lo and behold one week it appeared so I ordered it for her. Not bad for £2.99 p & p eh?
