The Free games was what attracted me to this website and too date I have recevied quite a few playstation titles (delivered in around 5-7 days) for just the cost of postage. Ok the games are not recent titles but for less than the price of a video rental you really can't complain. Through newsgroup discussion I know of many people that haven't received the titles they have ordered but so far I have had no experiences like this. theslammer.com is just another online retailer of games, there is nothing outstanding about the service or prices. Their offer of free games needs to be taken a face value, why are they doing it? simple answer I think. It is important to rember that everyone is out there to make a quick buck. If you can offer someone something at a cheaper price well done, but everyone still needs to make a profit so what corners do you need to cut? Theslammer is a site selling all thing computer gaming related, its sells games and hardware for all major formats. Prices are reasonable and I have not had any complaints will any of my purchases or with their customer services. However, what sets them apart from other similar sites is that they offer FREE (that’s right FREE) games for The Playstation and PC. No I don't like theslammer.com. I thought that they had some good offers and the free games sound good, but £2.50 for recorded delivery when all else is delivered free? There are plently of slightly newer games in their bargain section for under£5 and these have free postage. Also I ordered a game, and had to chase it us a week later when it was revealed that they no longer supply this game, however it is still listed on the website as being available. theslammer.com is definetly the best games retailer in the UK. They have nearly all the games that you could ever want for all consoles, although they don't have too many for the N64 : ( Not only are their games cheaper than anybody else (were not talking like 50p difference, its like £5 difference!!) but they also give away 5 games every week. You must always note that with TheSlammer.com, they don't give anything away. You get what you pay for. Their special offers are fantastic, until you read the small print.
