    Advantages Advantages Great, relexed photos, really fun! even iff you're not photogenic you end up looking fab!

    Venture Portrait Studio - " New Generation Portraits" I purchased the £25 gift voucher for my Dad's birthday. This was for me and my brother (both 16) and my Dad. I must admit I was a bit worried before I went because I had read some reviews on Dooyoo which suggested that Venture was not the best pace to go if you want photos of your family.     One afternoon whilst walking into my local ASDA Wal-Mart store, I was propositioned by a woman with her big display of "Venture Photography" I'm sure you know what I mean. Yeah you know the people with the Big Displays of very expensive looking photos, who are always trying to sucker you in!! Well obviously I was an easy target with 2 little kiddies and Mark in tow.     We had a bit of spare cash and were admiring the professional pictures at a display stand in our local shopping centre. There were lots of examples of stunning portrait pictures on display. The emphasis is on a new generation of portraits, the style is vibrent colors and contrast and fun capturing individuality and personality of the subject.     Advantages Advantages Something for nothing.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Dissapointing finished product and limited choices from expense.

    The other review pretty much gives you the blow by blow account of how it all unfolds. I would like to mention that my family got involved in this experience thru a "competition " that we had won which provided us with £150-00 worth of services.....£75-00 for the photo shoot and a free gift of a 7x5..worth £75-00. At the viewing, I was dissapointed in the end product. For all the photo's our photographer took and what I viewed on the screen there were really only a few that we all agreed that we liked.     Venture Portraits My family and I visited a Venture portraits franchise to have our portraits taken in Warrington; only last week and to be honest I was taken by surprise considering what I have encountered with the online reviews. A friend recommended them as we were looking for a family portrait, a family venture portrait with everyone that is, James my youngest was behaving like a typical 3 year old racing around and had no intention of standing still.     I must say that I am a keen photographer, wouldn’t call myself a professional as I don’t engage in full time photography but I know my way around a studio. My expectations were set very high as friends had visited a Venture portraits studio prior to me; so I was looking forward to the experience. I had dreadful thoughts though about having to stand in front of a camera and pretend to pose, I’m sure there are women out there that can relate to my feelings!     I've now been to Venture Leamington Spa and i can honestly say....... it was one of the best experiences i have ever had. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the session was brilliant, the shots were great and there was no pressure to buy at any point. I presumed with there being expensive pieces on show there would be, but the staff guided my family where needed and left us to it when we wanted as well. We've now got some great art pieces and i'm very proud. They are at the top end of the market, but you pay for what you get. If you want something cheap and very standard go elsewhere ... more

    My company booked some venture time at venture portraits, of which I was one who attended and I must say as professional women who likes being on the go and hates the very thought of standing still having my photo taken. How quickly I was wrong, the venture portraits photographer had us jumping up and down, running on the spot and making silly star jump shapes. What he captured was the energy of the team and the “On the go” perspective that we all ooze in our working lives.     My boyfriend and I visited the Leicester branch of Venture portraits for a Venture portraits session although we were unsure about what to expect. I had heard that the photographers in their take photography to new heights and they prefer you to be quite active and funky – lifestyle shots. So we went prepared for that and had a wonderful time, the photographer immediately made us feel at ease. I can’t say that I feel great in front of the camera, I’m not shy but I wouldn’t say confident either, in the end we had a fantastic time trying different things for different photos!
