I have been on the tiresome search for a summer holiday. I always go last minute and try to avoid highstreet travel agents and their commission like the plague (I'm sure that one year they WILL persuade me that a week in a 1 star hotel in Spain is a great idea but not quite yet!). One day recently I tried in vain from 10am until 6pm to make a booking. I gave up and phoned them. Despite spelling my name carefully down the phone , they managed to spell it incorrectly on my ticket.It was a shame that they did not contact me prior to issuing the ticket so I could have checked all the details- after all, they asked me for 2 phone numbers, my fax number and my e-mail address. I was keen to travel with a ticket that had my name spelled the same way as it was on my passport in these days of (allegedly) increased airport security . Awful service sill with unresolved issues after one year! I could right a novel and the absolute disgust I have with this company! Last year I booked a holiday for vegas and also booked and paid for a car. All went through fine with no problems. Went over to america with $1000 for spends. fantastic. On arrival at the airport we headed over to Alamo (the car company) to pick up our car only to be informed that I required a credit card to pay a deposit AND a young persons fee too!
