    I was looking for a hotel and air package on Travelocity's web site. I entered the dates October 25 thur the 29th, (our 38th wedding anniversary.) From the list of hotel choices I chose CAESARS PLACE, for the tune of $1558.19 the results came back.. Hotel Information 4 NIGHTS Caesars Palace Check in Mon OCT 25 Check OUT Fri Oct 29. Flight Information: Outbound monday Oct 25th 11:45 Arrive 4:43pm Return Flight OCT 29 12:45 arrive 9:16am, I typed my credit number and booked the package.     www.travelocity.co.uk sells flights, hotels, car hire and weekend deals and includes guides to the countries involved. “Today’s Bargain Holidays and Flights” is slightly misleading – by “Today” they mean leaving today , and the prices here aren’t fantastic. But the search facility has some good options like stating your maximum price. This site is well thought out and on the whole is easy to navigate but a little slow at times. It is much cheaper if you can buy your holiday in pieces and mix and match them yourselves. Don’t forget your sun tan lotion and your cozzy! ... more

    Travelocity is a great site to search for a wide range of cheap flights, car hire, hotels and holidays. It also has destination guides which is helpful if your find a cheap deal to somewhere you don't know much about. The actual service I found fantastic, just 5 minutes after booking a flight on line the travel agent in my area called me to confirm the booking and to enquire when I would like to pick up my tickets or would I like them mailing. I choose for them to be mailed, which was free of charge even though they were going to send them recorded delivery, the travel agent then suggested ... more

    Travelocity is a site which is pretty much unparralleled when it comes to information on travel. I think the flight information and booking service is one of the most comprehensive I have seen. However the down side is that even though you have so much choice, you never seem to find that bargain on here. It also contains a great hotel booking service, again probably the best available on the net, because it has such a wealth of information on each major hotel wherever you wish to go.     My experience with Travelocity has been truly awful. I would recommend everyone to avoid their website regardless of whether you think you may save money - you won't!! They have been possible the worst company i have ever dealt with. Confirming flights and providing tickets for flights which they then assure me have not be processed, extremely long waiting times on their telephone lines, very rude customer service people (I spoke to 3 all of whom were awful), debiting my card for flights i did not buy, not informing me when items have not been purchased....     I have struggled the last few months searching through different airline websites to find the lowest prices for upcoming trips. The ended when I was the Travelocity commercial on T.V. I went to the site, entered the departure city, destination, and dates - and it showed me rates for every airline that went there. It also lists the restrictions for the particular fare (non-refundable, tourist season, etc.) Even better, I registered, and listed several routes that I wanted Travelocity to "watch" for me.     I booked a low cost weekend break (to Lisbon) and it was the most trouble-free travel experience in a long time - I travel frequently and can say the experience was a good one. I organised flight, hotel and hire car - all were great, the hotel being particularly good value. I would highly recommend the company (and have to friends). The range of holidays available includes all the usual European destinations but, in addition, a fair range of holidays in North Africa and the Americas.     I think that writing bad reviews for places is a waste of time because it is just a matter of not using their services again and just forgetting about the bad experience. However this time around I feel that travelocity's customer service department truly deserves to be noted. It was the first and probably the only time that I will call the customer care center. The agents in travelocity seem to be constantly stressed and when things do go the way they want they keep repeating things to you like a broken record with a little side track in between.     Travelocity is really a good place to purchase tickets at the last minutes. But I also have doubts about the security of the information with them. I have reserved tickets to New York at the last minute and got a very good price. The website is easy to use and the e-ticket system is just fantastic! It saved a trip to the agency and you can just check-in at the counter the day the plane takes off. After the New York trip, I received the credit card statement couple months later. I found out that I have been charged for another trip to JAMAICA???? This really concerns me. From that time on, I am ... more

    Travelocity's faretracker is a must sign up for anyone who flies the airways. They you email any fare changes from a list of cities that you have entered in your profile. I have flown to Las Vegas for $98 from Ohio thanks to their email service. I use their online flight ticket service and have never had any probelms with any of my flights. Their hotel and car rental sections are not as adventagous to me. Their prices are always higher than what I can find on other travel and reservation sites. ... more
