    Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Koshkha and I am a (mostly) reformed review site addict. I had it bad - really bad. I was logging on at all hours of the day or night, wandering through life with a head full of review ideas, seeing every thing that happened to me, everything I bought, everything I ate, and everywhere I went as source material for my next fix/review.     MY MEMBERSHIP WITH TRIVAGO started in April 2007. Prior to my registration, I have some reservations of joining the site, thinking that it will only be a duplication of what I am doing with dooyoo and ciao which I occasionally post reviews. Most of these reviews were not really commercial products, but rather service-oriented ones like travels, theatre productions and attractions.     Advantages Advantages High pay rates (depending on your activity, but much higher than on ciao) - a young, vibrant community - friendly people from all over the world

    This is a personal opinion and no doubt others will disagree. Trivago.co.uk is a travel website that offers helpful advice for those seeking information on hotel accommodation. destinations, attractions and for those wanting to supply such information. I had some dealings with Trivago after accepting an invitation to participate in the review writing process. I have to say that Trivago was not for me and hopefully I can explain why.     Trivago is yet another review site that allows you to make a bit of extra cash from writing. It is an excellent travel web-site offering a reviews of an enormous number of hotels and tourist attractions from all over the world, with a useful search facility. It is certainly a good place to do your research when booking a holiday, but I shall review the web-site more from the perspective of its community and money-making opportunities.     So I have no idea how I started on trivago before I signed up with ciao, but it seems from the previous reviews that wherever you start you end up hearing about both. The purpose of this review is to bring an up-to-date perspective as it seems like no one has written about trivago on ciao for a couple of years and a lot of things have changed since then.     Its been more then a year ago that I heard of trivago on the german version of Ciao, ciao.de. One of my friends invited me there and after a long inactive time (mainly caused by the birth of my little daughter in May) I started to became active at trivago.co.uk and trivago.de, which is actually the same site, just with two languages, in November or early December...     Trivago.com markets itself as The #1 Hotel Price Comparison, and offers a number of appealing features, but also possesses a number of slightly irritating flaws. The site allows users to enter the name of a city, or monument, museum, stadium or such like, and find hotels which correspond with the search criteria. These can then be sorted according to distance to the city centre, or a particular point of interest.     I have recently rediscovered trivago and I wanted to let everyone know about it! So trivago has been around since 2005, but it seems that it has only been over the last couple of months that the features of the website have really improved and the information provided is really cohesive. At the end of last year trivago had a re-launch and the hotel price comparison has improved as well as the search features. Why am I using trivago?
