    I bought 10 domains (1 .org and 9 .co.uk/.org.uk's) from uk2.net last year for a total of £105.63 for 2 years. Looking at their site, you could be forgiven for thinking that 10 domains would cost only a few pence, but you have to multiply all the monthly figures they quote by 24 to get to the two years they actually charge you for and then add in the registry fees and VAT. I roughly worked out their current prices for the same 'Super 10' pack and it seems to come out to the same amount to within a pound or two.     Incompetent, liars, irresponsible, cheats. They have lost the data of well 10 sites web and servant serious damages. The authorities should prohibit to similar people to operate online still!     I have my blog hosted through uk2s wordpress hosting. I was on a different platform with my blog and decided to go another route completely. I like wordpress much better than the other blogging platform I was using and uk2s wordpress hosting option have been just what I needed. If you are thinking about doing a blog, wordpress is the best and uk2 is the best. Trust me, I have tried other hosting and other blogging platforms and wordpress is the easiest.     I know this is going to sound very cliché but UK2 really does put their customers best interest first. I chose a package plan a couple of weeks ago that I thought was going to work out perfect for me. When I realised that it wasn’t the right one for me I called up their sales staff and told them my concern.     Hi I signed up with UK2.net 2 days ago now (which forced me btw. to buy a domain as opposed to just letting me use one of my existing domains without actually transferring it to UK2.net - thank God I did not do that as now I would be untangling that mess too). I bought the most expensive hosting solution available, Business Plus, as on paper the offer looked fantastic, especially the root access and full control panel.     UK2.net are probably the most high profile of all the domain name registration companies, currently charging under £10 to register the UK domain name of your choice.I've bought a couple of names from them and cannot fault the service. They offer free web forwarding and unlimited e-mail addresses and e-mail forwarding in the price, but beware, for this you have to put up with their pop-up banner on diversion. You'll have to pay extra to divert without this. However my biggest qualm about this company is that you have to pay to transfer the domain name out if you wish to use another host. They ... more

    I have never had cause to contact the customer service of UK2 since their website and tools provide everything necessary for you to maintain your domain, in fact I see no reason that you'd ever need to phone them up. So, their service is great, I just use them for domain name registering and use web forwarding to free web space - for this type of application I think uk2 are idea, for anything else they start getting quite costly, i,e to pay for the removal of the uk2 header on the web forwarding (which by the way is very easy to bypass, you just need a couple of lines in your index.html to ... more

    Imagine you got on a bus journey and you paid when you got on. As you disembark the driver won't allowed to leave the bus unless you pay again and the fare is now double. You question why they didn't tell you when you got onto the bus in the first place but the driver doesn't say a word. In fact the driver doesn't even acknowledge you. You go past your stop and you can't leave the bus. Then you read a sign that says you can get off for free if you wait for the bus to do the journey again as its a circular trip but you have to pay for the journey again.     This is a fairly high profile web hosting and domain name registration service. They are good in that break down the costs into monthly or weekly costs for the period that you register your domain name for. The multiple domain name registration function is very good compared to some. However, if you want hosting for a personal website, go elsewhere. It is very expensive for a small sites and offers services more suited to businesses. The domain name forwarding is free, but that’s about it.     I have four domain names with uk2.net. They're features may not be as good as some other domain name hosts, but they are cheap. For my needs I can not fault them. I get a full .co.uk name and I even get the facilities ot set up an on-line shop with shopping cart...for no extra cost! People can view my site then go to my shop and order CDs wth the order being emailed to me and an invoice emailed to them. Facilities to use credit cards in your own shop are to be introduced soon.
