    I knew Ukparents.co.uk when they were called Ukmums.co.uk. I haven't visited for a while so I thought I would check it out. Wow, it's changed so much. The layout is completely different. There is loads more to the site than I remember and now you get loyalty points for visiting the site. You are invited to join the site as a member to receive your points, and also to make new friends by adding your member profile if you want.     This would be in the Parenting Websites section if there was one!! This is a very useful website. It is not aimed specifically at pregnant women or people with babies/small kids, and it is not aimed exclusively at women - something you find with a lot of parenting websites - it is a general celebration of parenthood! It's packed with information and useful resources. There are forums and coffee mornings if you want a chat, and various other ways to interact with site staff and other visitors.     Being a mum that's fortunate to stay at home and care for 2 lively young children, I need a bit of a break every now and then, my children are 3 and a half and 15 months old and quite a handfull, especially my youngest who has decided to become a mountaineer, climbing on every piece of furniture available including the kitchen table, I had the net installed 3 months ago and found a site called UK Parents, Its full of intresting information for mothers and fathers, they have loads of different articles and some great forums on every topic you can think off.     Wow! What did I do before I found UK Parents??! I actually came across this site when I was pregnant with Rebecca, and found it to be a gold mine! I made lots of friends, everyone is so nice! I got lots of advice, had lots of fun and actually learnt something too! They have a database of info about all aspects of life with babies/children, info on illnesses, developent, milestones, immunisations...etc... There is something for everyone, forums for pregnant women, grandparents, dads, kids, parents of kids in certain ages, mmr forum, buy & sell forum, debating forum, general forum....lots more ... more

    I am a mum of a 17 month old boy and found have been visiting this site for a while now.Its very informative and you can find almost anything you need to know on kids from development,feeding,newborns,doctors opinions and the list goes on and on. Brilliant forums to leave and recieve messages and I have made a few new friends through these. Lots of competitions and also loyalty points given each time you visit and contribute.These can then win you various things if you have the most at the end of the month.     I stumbled on this site by accident and I now visit it most days - there is such a huge amount of content and I especially like the forums as I have made a few friends there. I also love the idea of "coffee morning" where people with the same interest can arrange to meet up. There are loads of links to other sites . There are great easy competions too and a place to show off your little darlings photos. It not just about babies as a lot of these sites are - there are helpful articles about teenagers too.The problems pages are really well answererd too - not just a dismissive couple of lines ... more

    Ukparents.co.uk is a really good website that I've just stumbled across. It was recommended to me by a friend when I mentioned that I was trying to sell some nappies. The Ukparents site has a forum dedicated solely to buying and selling cloth nappies, so I thought I'd go and have a look. Apart from the nappies forum, there's loads more, from working from home, problem kids, bedwetting and loads to do with pregnancy.     I actually visited this site after seeing what good comments it had received by other Ciao users, and how right they were ! My intentions were just to have a quick look at it, but I staying on it for hours, the time just flew. It is paked full of information that parents actually need, not just comments to fill the page, and it is so easy to find. you can search through infomation relevent to your childs age, or for specific things.     I have been visiting UK parents for a year now. It is a good site, very informative. Content very good, provides web links to other sites such as sites to buy nappies etc. I have made a lot of e friends and normal friends on this site. It is good to go on and talk via the forums. There is an new forum added every Friday. You can discuss practically everything on the forums, and you can also sell unwanted things on the buy and sell forum.     Ukparents is my favourite parenting site of all. I visit every day. It is friendly, well run and a joy to use. Its biggest strength is the large number of forums it hosts. There is one for practically every aspect of parenting from prebirth to leaving home. The forums are well supported with good advice recieved in them, most of the forums are very active. Each day a question is answered by a member of a panel of experts. The questions are wide ranging and are usually answered well. There is a weekly feature with useful information.
