    Advantages Advantages cheap stationery - but at a price!!!!!!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages they will take £9.95 a month from you and you wont know about it!

    Vistaprint.co.uk are a company that offer free products such as business cards and other business stationery. I decided to order my husband some business cards for his self-employed courier business as a colleague of his had recommended vistaprint. Wow, what a mistake that was! Majority of these activities are done using either direct debit or by credit cards.     I run my own business (part time) as a homeopath, and to be honest you don’t get into homeopathy for the money. With that in mind you still need business resources, such as stationary letterheads and leaflets (I can do that in Word or Publisher) Accounts (I can do that in Excel or Access) Business cards– Yes I can do these in Word or Publisher, but they look a bit home made! They sent a flyer with my order for this company and I thought I'd have a look as they advertised ''free business cards'' - well you might as well have a look at these things hadn't you?     I was recommended Vistaprint as a place to get cheap marketing materials custom printed. Vistaprint is an online site that offers a huge range of items, from marketing fliers, to business cards, to office stationary, that you can customise. They are extremely competitively priced (at least on the surface) and they even provide certain items as offers for free.     Vistaprint ~~~~~~~~ The primary reason why most customers end up using this particular printing company is because they very actively market their concept of providing “free” business cards. Indeed this is the reason why I looked at the site and was impressed enough to place an order with them to see if they really were free and if there were any catches.     I thought I would be clever and make some business cards for hubby who is self employed. I have several options on the pc and there are numerous other styles on the web available for download as you are probably aware.     VistaPrint are a cheap company for printed stationery and in particular, business cards. This cheapness comes with a cost however. I ordered business cards and some free return address labels and the website is easy to use, the price is displayed clearly. That clearly displayed price was not the same amount that was taken from the credit card. It turns out that they had charged for their 'free' business cards. This is not the worst of them.
