    It's wonderful coming home after your holidays. Even if you've had a great time there's nothing better than putting your key in your door knowing that you have had a safe journey home. Well that's normally the way it is any way! This year when we put our key in the door we were met with a very stale smell and a rather large sticky, wet puddle making its way across the kitchen floor from beneath the fridge freezer!     This is my review of Appliances Online, when I bought a dishwasher last month. Appliances Online delivered a Beko DSFN6830W Standard Dishwasher which got good reviews and was listed in their top 5. At £254, delivered, I also paid for the "peace of mind" cover and installation service which is £19.99 or there abouts. The drivers showed up 24 hours later, and fitted it. I was impressed. I even posted a comment on this very page. We were up and running for 4 weeks. The unit failed mid wash, the power button would not activate making the unit useless.     I own and manage several properties and I almost always use Appliancesonline for new or replacement appliances as well as for my own home. I have found that they excel at keeping you informed about delivery both by text and by email and they also follow up deliveries asking for feedback. All the operators seem to be good at customer services. The prices are excellent - I always search for better deals which can occasionally be found elsewhere but generally Appliances Online come up tops.     I ordered a fridge freezer from Appliancesonline recently, and waited 6 weeks for it to be ordered direct from Hotpoint. On the scheduled day of delivery I received a dishwasher (also to arrive the same day) but no sign of the fridge freezer. Even the delivery guy did not know why it was not on the van. It transpired a week later that it had been damaged somwhere in transit, although this fact was not reported to me by customer service until I happened to be on the phone chasing things later on.     Have to admit i was sceptical about appliances online as i hadnt heard of them before but i needed a cooker asap and appliances online could deliver next day compared to 2 weeks from all other companies i looked at first! After reading their facebook page i decided to take the plunge and make the order. Ordered at lunchtime on the sunday, the cooker was nearly £60 cheaper than elsewhere, delivered following morning at 7:15am.     I bought a washing machine from Appliances online because John Lewis could not offer recycling and connection services on that particular model and this washer wasn’t available anywhere else. What a mistake that was. The purchasing process went smoothly and communication was great – they gave me a delivery date, called and emailed to remind me of it and on gave me a delivery slot on the day, which I thought all was very good.     I have now purchased a couple of items from appliances online (samsung american fridge freezer & LG Washing machine). On both occasions the service as be absolutely faultless. The first purchase of the fridge freezer was £200 cheaper than currys, currys couldnt deliver for 2 weeks. appliances online delivered next day, unpacked it and took rubbish away. 2nd purchase of washing machine in jan 2013 (with bad snow). was expecting delivery on the friday but due to heavy snow was prosponed to saturday.     An excellent service was experienced, in all aspects, when purchasing a Bosch cooker from appliancesonline.co.uk Their well laid out website made it easy to select the item required, to confirm that the required item was held in stock and to determining the most, mutually, suitable delivery date. Then the company was very efficient in acknowledging both the order details and the requested delivery date.     I ordered a BEKO upright freezer which I took delivery on 28th Dec 2011. The delivery people were very unhelpful, rude and did not care about the customer. They brought in the freezer in the conservatory but then would want to move it to the correct position. Instead one of the walked out and the other told me to move it!!DISGUSTING!! He evetually moved it by scraping it accross the wooden floor. He then left. I compained to the company and now 3 weeks later they say they are not going to pay for the damage. DISGUSTING!!     Really helpfu customer service, there was a small glitch with online ordering but one quick call which was answered immediately soon sorted everything. The goods arrived on specified date, online tracking lets you see expected delivery time and they even text and call on the day to advise of more specific delivery time...no waiting all day for goods to arrive!!!
