    Welcome to my review about an email that my dad uses it is yahoo; I think yahoo isn't that good as hotmail, hotmail has more features and it is easier to use and send messages. In this review you will find stuff about how to join, how to change your themes and many many more.     Yahoo is an excellent site to sign up to. I have been using the yahoo services for over 4 years now and i'm really happy with them. I use Yahoo frequently everyday for a number of different reasons. I use Yahoo to check my e-mails, play games, search for information, use yahoo answers and loads more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Registering with Yahoo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In-order to make the most of Yahoo and use Yahoo Mail you have to sign up.     This op, has just been modified. Yahoo is an excellent site with free email, web sites, online games and chat rooms. Yahoo comes with an excellent search engine, so you can find what you're looking for in seconds. It also gives you access to their online shopping, the stock market, TV listings, sites for children only, news and more. To get the free services below and more you have to register with yahoo, this only takes a few minutes but it is well worth it.     Yahoo! is brilliant, free e-mail and web hosting and searching and ..... why not give yahoo a go. A comprehensive place to find anything on the web and with many topics to search from including all the popular areas such as computers and the internet, similar to ciao in a way. You can never go wrong with Yahoo! and Yahoo! Geocities (Yahoo!'s web pages). There are many different countries that Yahoo! covers so all nationalities can get in on the shear brilliance of it.     Yahoo is the search engine of choice for many, but have they made the right choice? I've used Yahoo for four years now and find it useful for some things but very poor for others. I think it's a matter of understanding what Yahoo is that will really make the difference to your searching, and if you use Yahoo with other search engines you will really be able to get the best from the Internet. At the end of this opinion I give a useful suggestion about how to use Yahoo and Google together and really get the best of both worlds. Lets start by looking at what YAHOO actually is.     Advantages Advantages Most popular search engine on the internet, combines every other service across the 'net in one place.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Too many dead links, too slow a queue to get listed, refuses to pass to Google instantly, you have to tell it to go there else it'll just search the categories

    The Yahoo search engine comes in numerous flavours, all designed for local languages and communities. You get the .com one for the American market and there's a .co.uk for the UK and a few others as well. Now there is nothing new about this, other search engines have been doing this for ages, providing localised content (though whether people actually use it is another opinion altogether). There isn't much to say about the Yahoo search engine, except that it's categorised in hundreds of thousands of categories, sub-categories, sub-sub-categories and so on and so-forth.     Searching for something specific on the web used to be hard.Trying to find something on George Washington on another search engine you'd find tons of blind links and stuff you weren't looking for. Yet with Yahoo! Search I found it to be much easier of a chore to find something specific on the web with it's main and sub categories.     The founders of yahoo.com are now rich, but their shares have fallen in price. The site itself is very good, and recently they have removed all entries in the search engine that go to pornographic sites following allegations against them. You only get links to good sites, (but they may be old, which I will explain later) which are relevant to your site as long as you type the right thing in the search box.     www.yahoo.co.uk is, I reckon, one of the fastest growing search engines going in the world.
