    The zone is a place you can go to play online games with people anywhere in the world. It is run by msn and to use it you require an msn passport. An msn passport is basically just and e-mail account with hotmail, part of the msn group. What attracted me to the Zone? I enjoy playing PC games like Age of Empires, but after a while they get rather repetitive and predictable. This is mainly due to the fact that you are playing against a computer opponent, whom inevitably will make the same moves, again and again.     Firstly www.zone.com is a free Internet gaming website created on the Microsoft network. To use the zone you will need a net passport or a hotmail/msn account and to choose a nickname. -Access- Msn will not let you access through alternative web browsers such as firefox or opera and if you do try it redirects you to the download Internet explorer page.     I have been playing games on Msn Gaming Zone for a while now, in fact I play chess every weekend with a guy in the states that is a good friend.     The MSN Gaming Zone is a great website for playing your own bought games with other people or to play the wide range of free games. There are many free games to choose from like Checkers, Bejeweled and Chess. Each game has a great rating system so you can compare yourself to other players. You can also play a selection of your own bought games with other people over the zone. My personal favourite is Age of Empires (I have already reviewed this game.)     ~After checking my home page (Ciao of course) and, browsing for a short while, I always end up playing online games.     The MSN site has many sections, but one of the best is this games site, called MSN Zone. It provides a venue for you to meet other gamers and play your game of choice. The site offers the chance to play both free games and full price games (that you buy from the shops). What is MSN gaming zone, well its a collection of free to play games, you can play anything from Backgammon to Golf or Chess to Cribbage.     The zone.com is the gaming zone from the msn website . On thi site you have got a selection of games in different categories , the games I selected to play took a little while to download but when the had finished loading the graphics were of a surprisingly good quality and the sound was unspectacular but functional. There are games that are free but there are also games you have to but , some of these games are well known games that have been brought out for the PC like Jack Nicklaus golf and Sammy Sosas baseball .
