Education Studies - UCAS course code X300 -------------------------------------------------------------- Fir stly let me introduce myself properly, I am a third year student on the Education Studies Course at Sheffield Hallam University. I originally came from a small village on the north east coast and so coming to a big city like Sheffield was a bit of a shock to the system. Review of Education Studies

* Revising Is Fun! *

Advantages: Makes Revising Fun!
Disadvantages: None!

Business Studies. If I remember correctly , all my other exams were taken through the Welsh Joint Education Comittee (WJEC) exam board , however my business studies one was taken through AQA. A few months before my business studies exam my teacher told us that she had ordered some 'revision guides' for us , which if we bought them from her , we would get them cheaper because she was 'bulk buying' for the school , and so in the end I think I only ended up having to pay about £3 for this book , whereas it's recommended retail price is £4.50 which I think is excellent value for money considering the degree of information it contains. I also bought a revision workbook which had exam questions , which was exactly like the book I am reviewing , with the exact same information on the exact same pages although you had to 'fill in the blanks ...

Lett Letts Educate You

Advantages: Quick and comprehensive
Disadvantages: Needs further study to be understood

a very organised layout, each chapter consisting of a "Summary of Events" and then units which proceed to explain each development to some length. The most useful part of the book, however, cannot be found in any of the chapters pertaining to the particular periods. You'll understand what I mean if you were to read the "Studying and Revising History" section, which is displayed as a sort of preface to the book. it explains exactly what approach you should take when studying for and writing the exam and what form of analysis is required. One of my biggest worries was what exactly was required from an A level history student, that wasn't from an O level one.
