I love my perfumes and I love Charlie White it is one of my favourites. Launched by the design house of Revlon in 1994. Charlie White is a brand that is particularly suited for the day time. I imagine that this would be good to wear if you were going to work all day because it is refreshing. It is really light too.

This refreshing blend has jasmine, watermelon and violet with additional notes of sandalwood.

Charlie White is in my opinion very nice and feminine. It makes you feel that touch special without costing the earth, but unlike some of the cheap brands of perfume around it doesn't have a cheap smell. It's also very nicely presented in a finely shaped glass bottle. Curved with CHARLIE written in capital letters above the word WHITE. It has a simple design which works because it's simple, but elegant.

Charlie white comes in a 3.4 oz bottle in a nicely presented Charlie white presentation box. You can also buy this in a body spray, gift set with 1.3 oz cologne and 2.5 oz perfumed body powder, there is an eau de toilette also available.

When I see Charlie White I see a young ladies perfume I see it ranging from young teenagers as young as 13 to ladies of around 30. Though this saying there may be some of you who like Charlie White at no matter what age you are, but this is just my impression of the smell which is sweet and delicate with refreshing citrus scents.

I like to use this in the morning before my day has started getting out of the shower and squirting a few drops of this on my neck and wrists. Usually I put it on my neck, behind my ears, on my elbows and behind my knee's. I do this because that is where the pulse points are. I like to smell nice and would feel uncompleted without that touch of perfume. Though because perfume is so expensive I find that Charlie meets my requirements for money without scraping the barrel.

What Is Perfume Made From?

Perfume is derived from around 78% to 95% of individualised denatured ethyl alcohol and a remainder of essential oils. Perfume is the most expensive form of fragrance with 22% of essential oils. Eau de Parfum (EDP), comes next with between 15 and 22% essential oils.That's followed by Eau de Toilette (EDT) with 8 to 15% oils.The weaker Eau de Cologne has just 4% essential oils.For those who really want great subtlety Eau Fraiche with 1 to 3% essential oils, is the lightest dilution of fragrance.

I have been using Charlie White for several years probably since I was a teenager myself when I first discovered it I was surprised at the low cost of this perfume compared to say some other brands like Obsession or Estee Lauder which can cost the earth. I admire Revlon for keeping Charlie at a low cost.

The only other thing I notticed with Charlie White is that you need to carry it round with you all day and spray at regular intervals as the staying power isn't very good. What I have found is that on spraying Charlie White it sells quite strong, but then fades really quickly. Saying all this though I would truly recommend Charlie White as being one of the finest perfume brands around. Although if you prefer to spend more on perfume and go by how much you spend then I wouldn't advise Charlie, but if you don't mind spending less and getting just as good quality then I'd advise Charlie.
