Advantages Gives computer user experience
Disadvantages Don't always get through to full survey
I have completed some surveys, given all sorts of information, told that I should receive "x" reward, but nothing shows up on my account.
On 21/11/08, I completed a survey on Consumer Topics, reward £2 as yet, zilch!
This is not the only survey, there are plenty of 10p ones.
I have received rewards in the past, so why not now.
This seems to have been since Ciao split their operations.
It is all very well spending time trying to do your best and give careful thought to answers, also giving personal information to a survey, then not getting the promised reward.
I am certainly receiving more junk mail on my computer since doing these surveys, and also who else benefits from the information?
When I enter my email address and password on the surveys site, I am told that my address is not recognized, yet asking for a reminder from Ciao, the very email address and password I used was the same as the reminder!! All is NOT well.
A tale of woe maybe, and I am sure there is a perfectly good explanation for the above situation, possibly the fact that my email address is not recognized on the surveys site, yet my Ciao username works to get into Ciao main site.
The login for the Ciao surveys is email address and password, yet for the main Ciao site, it is Ciao username and password.
Suggestion - could there be a common log in using Ciao username and password for both sites?
The experience of others is important to me, and many people recommend the surveys. There must be others like me that have had or are having a similar bad experience?!!
It should be enjoyable taking part in the surveys, and also receiving rewards.
Even after sending an Email to Ciao, there is no response.
Update 19/03/2009
Loads of Emails later, I finally found that I have been writing to the wrong CIAO contact!
I have just found the correct site to write to, so hopefully things might get better.

have had the same problem with claiming - still ongoing!
