Im not a big reader, the type that reads only on holiday, so its rare that I find a book worth writing about.
The Big Breach is written as an Autobiography by RichardTomlinson, an Ex MI6 agent who claims that he was unfairly dissmissed by MI6 and since this point have they have been trying to silence him and make his life as difficult as possible.
The book begins with his upbringing and high level of education, from where he was 'selected' as a possible candidate to join MI6...

Advantages: A fascinating insight into the work of the secret service Disadvantages: Can you believe everything you read?
...I DOWNLOADED this book for free after receiving an e-mail from 192.com.
The book was offered in plain text, Word or PDF format, each containing the full text of the book.
I opted for the plain text version, which was handily split into 5 separate sections. I loaded each section onto my Palm organiser and read the book from there.
I believe the book is still available as a free download from 192.com but if you have any difficulty contact me and I shall send you the text version. My e-mail address is on my profile.
The book tells the fascinating story of ex-MI6 officer RichardTomlinson's life to date. He claims to have been sacked unfairly from the security service. His efforts to take his case to an industrial tribunal were thwarted by MI6s claims that any tribunal would be a risk to national security.

Advantages: The man himself - 9 lives Disadvantages: Ends too soon - Give me more
...My partner bought this for my birthday, knowing that I`m a real biography fiend. I love Tomlinson`s work and seeing as how I lived in Liverpool for most of the 90`s it was great to read about places I knew.
This book is hard to define as it`s a bit of everything - celebrity insider info, social history, working class history, hilarious commentary and a bit of acting thrown in for good measure along the way. I loved it and would be out tomorrow to buy anything else he writes.
It`s a great read that has you cringing, laughing, crying etc in equal measure all the way through.
I`ve lost count of the amount of people who have borrowed it. All had nothing but good words to say afterwards....
