Ricky Gervais: Live Science

It's well into the Ricky Gervais' Live Science Tour and he's arrived at the epicentre of alternative British culture, Brighton! Yet again Mr Gervais proves he still has the knack for highlighting the taboo, discrediting the overweight (ironically) and shaming the so called 'underclass' of British society. Of course, his humour is tounge in cheek, but it does elaborate an interesting point; comedians can get away with anything, and rightly so. After all, an essentially British trait is the ability to poke fun at our own misfortunes and idiocy; it is a way of life.

Although not for the faint hearted, Ricky's deeply disturbing outlook no way differs from the renowned stand up tours of 'Animals' and 'Politics' that crowned him his post-The Office appreciation as one of the countries most talented comedians.

Certainly worth the experience and the £30. So for anyone who enjoys Ricky's alter-ego, and needs a break from the generic Englishman the Americans' portray him as in Hollywood, look no further.

One problem though, you'll have to wait for the DVD now!!
