overall I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed.

I'm no camera buff, so I wanted something that'd cope with most eventualities like my old Kodak. This new camera really doesn't cope very well with either extreme of lighting - I thought that this point and click jobbie would do that for me without any problems.

on the plus side, it is very small and light - you really don't know it's there which is really useful. The screen is fab too.

my main gripe is that the lens mechanism keeps playing up. The 1st camera had to go back after 2 weeks due to it being jammed. That same issue re-appeared 3 weeks ago (different camera supplied by Jessops outlet), and I sorted that out with gentle tapping, but now the zoom won't work properly and keeps re-setting itself to normal
