With the SP C222DN, Ricoh has entered the market of low cost color laser printers. However with the cutting of post, the quality has also gone down. The print performs decently but not up to the mark.
The problems start as soon as you begin the installation process. There is a huge guide which has all the necessary details. The instructions are pretty clear. At first, you are asked to move to the -'Software Installation guide' for network connection.
You are supposed to get the next set of instructions here, however these instructions are difficult to understand and inadequate. Some very important steps and key points are missing. Along with the printer, you get a CD which contains details about the USB installation. This make things tough as the USB details are only in the CD and thus not easily available. as every type of converting, be it Audio, video or picture, the way it is achieved is the same.
* Click on Video/Audio/picture.
* Choose the format which you want to convert to. (All to? which ever format)
A new window will then open up?
* Click on ?Add files?
* Browse through your system until you find the files which you want to convert.
You can also change several settings to customise your files by clicking on the ?High quality and size? link (video), ?High Quality?, (Audio) and ?output file? (picture).
Although the default setting do tend to be adequate for most needs.
Then finally,
* Click ?OK?
Your chosen files will appear on the original screen under the red title of Format Factory?.

Advantages: Compact. Light. Good range. Decent image quality. Disadvantages: Not highest build quality. Slow max aperture. Better option available.
The Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-f/5.6 IS USM lens is a big step up from the cheap n' nasty 18-55mm kit lens supplied with most entry-level Canon APS-C sized sensor DSLR cameras. However, it is far from perfect.
Being an EF-S lens (the 'S' standing for short back focus), it cannot be used on full-frame DSLR's or 35mm SLR cameras. It is designed specifically for cameras with APS-C size sensors and has a correspondingly reduced image circle which would vignette on larger sensor cameras. Also, the mirror could strike the rear lens element mounting, causing significant damage. Don't even think about it!
