Complicated, non-intuitive and badly designed. Many cameras are so easy to use that you can generally get by without reading the manual - with this one, it is essential!
XP: does not come with XP drivers and does not work with XP, despite any claims otherwise. If you do manage to get it to work with XP, it will involve a great deal of time and effort. If you are expecting to 'plugin-and-go', forget it.
Poor documentation. Again, looks impressive, but fails to deliver. Ricoh cleary think that quantity is more important than quality. An object lesson in how NOT to write documentation.
Expensive.
Summary: This camera may look 'cool', but that is the only good thing that can be said about it. In truth, it is a dreadful product -certainly the worst digital camera I have ever come across. There are many much better, and much cheaper, cameras on the market - the vast majority of which just 'plugin-and go'. Dont even think about buying this camera. You have been warned.
I havent tried the movie features or a number of other features. Ive spent a considerable amount of time trying to get it to work with WinXP ... without success, so I cant transfer my pics to the PC.
Ricoh: Is this really the best you can do ???

(+) Handling, quality, seems to take great pictures all by itself! That great 24mm lens (-) Sorry, but if you think the price is high, you don't understand value.
