Advantages keeps my son quiet for ages when it rains !
Disadvantages needs more local stuff
There are a few BMX mags on the market at the moment and this one seems to have the most to offer as far as uk BMX'ers are concerned.
It cost £2.90p in the U.K., though you can subscribe to it for £23 which is a years subscription (9 issues), and you get a free shirt and a dvd free, so if BMX is your 'thing', its well worth the money. In each issue there are interveiws with proffesional riders who offer hints and tips on how to improve your ride, also how to develope your own jumps or what other riders have been up to.
There are some amaizing photos of different jumps and alot of information on where the photos were taken, who by and who was riding. The mag also includes alot of adverts for trainers, urban wear and anything else remotely to do with BMX.
There are write ups and reveiws about different parks all around england and some parks in other parts of the world.
If you know a teenager that devotes it's life to this sport and are stuck as to know what to buy them for a gift for birthday or christmas, then a subscription to this mag would be ideal.
ridebmx is available to buy in most newsagents or bike shops. There is also a website www.ridebmxmag.co.uk
or you can phone 01305 257990.
