Ridge Racer DS was one of the first racers on the DS. It comprises the same elements as your bog standard racer, some may not enjoy this as they can't use weapons or nitrous etc. But it is still a good game; you race very quickly with a very good frame rate, and the AI can sometimes be pretty hard to beat. Ridge racer is good, it is such an easy game to play even as a beginner. The race has a drift path, so you just have to control the drift and the game will carry it around. The graphics are good and the scenery is quite real just doing a slow lap will enable you to be able to see the scenery with detail, but only close up.
