Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Varnish

Since getting an Iphone I have found that I can let my nails grow and still manage to text because they no longer catch other buttons and make my messages a bit weird! So, with my new long nails on a shopping trip to Morrisons I came across the aisle for make up and nail polish and decided to take a look at what I might like to use. I am a bit impatient waiting for polish to dry and not very experienced at putting it on so seeing this on the shelf really made me want it!

Rimmel 60 second nail varnish claims to dry in 60 seconds and take only one stroke so perfect for the impatient novice that I am!

Evening comes, dinner is sorted and the dishes are done and I finally get to try out this new polish. I chose Euphoria as my colour because its kind of a nice light brown with a shine that I can wear all of the time. Thinking that I don't want the hassle of chaning my colour every time I get dressed!

So here goes, bottle opened and I start on my thumb.... WOW, instantly I was extremely impressed. The polish covered my whole nail in one stroke, there was no streaking or gaps where the brush was loaded unevenly. The brush itself looks like any other but on closer inspection you can see that although it spreads itself to cover the nail like others do, it still holds the polish on the outsides. Most polishes tend to get thin on the edges because the bristles spread apart and leave gaps with no polish.
I carried on and completed my whole hand in seconds and then sat back to wait for it to dry before doing the other hand. It was touch dry in 60 seconds, honestly! Not so dry that you could play a tune on your teeth with your nails but dry enough to carry on doing normal things. Second hand took seconds also and was very tidy, which is quite impressive being as this is usually the left hand and I am left handed!

Within 5 minutes both hands were totally dry, like dry enough to rub one nail against another (the standard girl test to see how dry our polish is)

no need for a second coat, no need to frantically get the remover out and tidy up the bits I usually get all over my fingers.

Rimmel 60 Second Nail Varnish does exactly as it says it does and comes in so many lovely colours too. Now I know how easy it is to use I think I will find myself getting lots of colours and changing my nails every day! At £3.49 I think it's a very good value for money purchase that every girl should make!
