With my busy lifestyle, its very rare i have a huge amount of 'me time'. This means i cant really spare time to apply layer after layer of nail varnish and wait for it to dry. Then i spotted Rimmels 60 Seconds nail varnish and thought its sounds ideal and, at a reasonable price of around £2.99, it was definately worth a try.

I chose the colour 210 Ethereal which is a pink shimmery colour. Would have ideally had a pink without shimmer, such as pale pink, but wasn't an option. The variety of colours is good, but i believe it could be better, with maybe not so many colours with shimmer.

The brush applicator has been rounded off for ease and speed application, and it really does make a diiference. I found it very easy to apply a nice even coat quite quickly, though i would not recommend actually rushing application. Instead, just take care and concentrate, as i found that rushing caused coverage to be less even, leading to the need to start application again. However, with good steady application, its easy to get a nice even coverage.

Once applied, i waited around 60 seconds and found that yes, the varnish was dry. However, i then discovered that it was still a little easy to smudge, so would not recommend applying just before work or before having to do a manual job. I would still say that it is well worth a try as it is a big time saver. Also, one coat is really all you need which is great. The colour matches how it looks in the bottle with the single coat, with an even coverage and left me very pleased.

So overall, in my opinion, this product is value for money and does what it says on the bottle. With an even full colour coverage, a 60 seconds touch dry time and ease of application, this varnish is the one i use to fit into my busy lifestyle. In my experience it also last for a good 3 to 4 days and i have a very hands on job role.
