Rimmel blush packaging is not endearing like some other blushes, actually. The packaging consists of a simple square thin box with a transparent plastic lid. The lid is easy to be removed. It doesnīt contain a brush to apply the blush but for me this is an advantage because I dont like the brushes that normally you find inside blushers. They are normally poor quality and very small. I rather apply the blush with a big brush. more
Make up is fun, and makes us look good. But I consider that choosing the correct product is as important as knowing our skin necessities.
Personally, I know how important is to take care of our skin, I am not this lucky to have normal skin, I have "weird" skin. I had skin problems when I was younger so now I have to be extremely careful when applying make up, and when purchasing it as well.
I donīt wear foundation normally, just when I go out at weekends but I wear blush daily. I donīt have bright skin and blush makes me look brighter and fresh!. But it is difficult to find a good blush.

And after reading about it and listen to my friendīs opinion, I decided to buy it. Rimmel blush packaging is not endearing like some other blushes, actually. Rimmel blush contains 5 g of product, which in my opinion is fine. Blush normally lasts long time but make up products should not be applied after 10 months of purchasing them because they may become old and bad for your skin or, at least, this is a recommendation from some beauty technicians. And I donīt think this blush will last more than 4 months, applying it daily, so the quantity is fair enough.
I purchased Rimmel blush in Santa Rose color. This is a rosey color which looks very natural. I could compare the color with the natural rosey color of our cheeks after running or when we blush naturally (embarrasing moments, for instance). I couldnīt find the name of the rest of the colors of this product but there are at least two or three colors more available. Santa Rose is number 001 so I guess is the lightest and the rest are darker and not so rosey like this one.
When applying Rimmel blush I notice that my cheeks look immediately brighter and, at the same time, the bright cheeks have a good effect on the rest of my face. Even if you just wear blush and no other make up product, your face will look bright and fresh. My cheeks are now a little bit sparkling but I could say that it is a very subtle sparkling effect, which I really like. And the blush effect lasts, at least, for 5 hours so I donīt have to re-apply the product, which is also a great advantage because I donīt like carrying my make up bag everywhere I go so long lasting products are always welcome to my life. Moreover, I feel really comfortable wearing this blush and I havenīt noticed skin reactions or allergic reactions of any kind which, in my case, it is something very important when purchasing a make up product.
Rimmel blush is the first product I have bought from Rimmel make up brand, so I canīt compare the quality of this product with the rest of the range. In Spain Rimmel was unknown until two years ago, so there are really few people who use this brand. However, I liked many of the products that I saw at the Rimmel department of the store so maybe I would buy more products in the future. Rimmel products may be purchased in many beauty stores, and since is an English brand it must be really easy to find them in England (or it is just me who think so?: ). In Spain, there are some beauty stores that sell Rimmel products and it should not be difficult to find them, anyway.
Overall, I like this blush and I will use it, at least, until it is finished. I highly recommend it, mainly because of the color, the effect and its size. Maybe I will try a new one after this, because I am not this make-up faithful hehe, but this one will be one of my favourites from now on. Thanks for reading!

...weeks back, I re-came across Rimmel Blusher in my local chemist when I had some money (money in possession MUST therefore be spent!) last Friday and I purchased some for Ģ3:49 in the colour 004 Pink Rose. I generally go for the cuter, pinker blushers as I'm very pale, yet I find pink blusher will complement any make-up look I experiment with, even if I darken my skin with foundation/bronzer etc.
It comes in a very small, square 5g 'pot' (it's very ... ...an applicator brush, which is a bit crappy if you're like me and can't understand spending money on face brushes and stuff, so I generally use my fingers and rub the colour on.
It's easy enough to open, although the ridge you use to open it is not very clear and if you put the lid on the wrong way (very easy to), you might have a bit of a struggle getting it back off again. But overall, it looks very snazzy, with Rimmel's recognisable, subtle logo.

...for instance. I've been using Rimmel blush for over a year now and I think it is fantastic! I would never touch another blush again! all u need is one dab with a big blusher brush, smile and apply on the apples of your cheeks for a cheeky, cute finish! At the moment I'm using 001 Santa Rose but as it's a cheap buy, I have 3 in my make-up bag at the one time and depending on the look I want to achieve with my make-up I mix 'n' match them. One blusher ... ...after it properly that's why these bluishers are such a good buy, although they look small they are very decievable!. The only thing I can find to moan about is that you need to be very very careful with them as if you drop the blusher it cracks very easily, meaning that you have fragments of red blush all over your cream carpet :(( not very pretty! at Ģ4.99 a blush it is the season's must have! and I can assure you you will not be without it again! ...

gotten(it was a sale buy one get one free in the store on make-up). I probably should have put it on with a sponge but I prefer using my finger I feel I'm able to get more coverage that way. It went on nice and easy. It felt light unlike other foundations I've tried. It didn't even look like I was wearing make-up!!!! It evened out my skin tone(I have naturally red cheeks and nose) covered the shine and gave me a healthy glow. Even up close you can't really tell it's there. It looks so natural and it feels natural. It's so amazing especially for the first time make-up users like me.

The brush looks good, it is average sized, not too big that you can fit it in your make up bag yet not too small that you will loose it, it is slightly longer and has a slightly bigger brush head than BareMinerals other products. The handle is long and black and remains clean throughout use and doesn't clog up and the bristles are brown in colour. The bristles themselves, I think actually look quite hard, but at first touch, you see this is not true - they are really soft, like running cotton wool over your skin.
