I had seen glitter mascara in the Avon book and was tempted to buy some, until I read an opinion on this site. The opinion said that it did not have a very good effect, so I decided to shop around and see if any other companies had come up with this idea. This is when I found this product. Rimmel crystal tip mascara.

***********************PACKAGING********​**************

This product comes in a clear plastic tube. Through the tube you can see the mascara inside. It is silver in colour, with little flecks of silver glitter. The lid is silver/grey in colour and has the applicator attatched. Around the tube, in white writng is the name of the product and where to apply it. There are no ingredients ar directions of use on the tube.

I bought this product from Superdrug and it cost me £3.39. Other places that sell Rimmel products have this, but the price does vary. The cheapest place is Superdrug.

********************WHERE TO APPLY********************

This product is mascara, but that does not mean you are limited to your lashes. This product can also be used on eye brows and hair.

***********************RESULTS**********​**************

*Lashes- application gives an even look. Your lashes are covered in a silver mascara that has little glitter flecks. The glitter flecks shine brightly in the light, drawing attention to your eyes. It is noticeable.

*Brows- the silver mascara isn't that noticeable on your brows but the silver flecks are. It looks like you have applied glitter to your brows and not mascara.

*Hair- thinly applied it looks like glitter hair colour, but has a more subtle appeaerance.

**********************MY OPINION**********************

This product is easy to apply and because it can be used in three places and not just one, it is a versatile product, making it worth it's money. I would definately buy it again.

I have found a little tip, that I am going to share with you all though. If you apply normal mascara first and then this on top of that, it is even more noticeable. It gives a dramatic effect, without being to over the top. Ideal for a night out on the tiles!

Try not to apply to much either, as it tends to clump, when a large amount is applied. Less is more when it comes to this prodict!

On the whole, a good product with noticeable results. It is fairly priced and versatile, lasts well and looks good. It can be used for special occasions or just if you fancy something a little different. I do not use this product every day, but sometimes I apply it as my normal mascara, just for a change.
