Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara

There are very few things that I use regularly and need replacing often, with the thing I will now review being one of those “must have” items!

The product I will now review is - “Rimmel - extra super lash mascara”.

I initially bought this from my local Asda as it was on offer, being sold for half it’s normal RRP, so it would have just been rude to not buy it!

I am lucky enough to have been blessed with fantastically long eyelashes and lots of them, so any adding of mascara makes a dramatic difference, I think it makes me look wide eyed but my husband thinks I always look permanently startled! Lol!

This mascara boast the ability of being able to offer natural to dramatic eyelashes, with how well my eyelashes take to mascara I find when wearing a little for work, I do prefer something that won’t make me look like a drag queen, ok for night eye’s but not work hospital eye’s!

This mascara comes within a very generic looking tube, with the brush being attached to the inside of the lid, and holding 8ml of product which equates (with daily use) to a good couple of months wear.

The brush itself is an elongated shape, narrowing towards the end perfect for getting to the smaller and finer lashes in the corners of the eye.

The brush initially holds a fair amount of product, with me having wipe a small amount of, I find it hard to layer the mascara on when building on clumps!

The mascara lengthens and coats the lashes beautifully, with one layer leaving the lashes reasonably natural looking with just the right amount of curl and a couple more layers leaving the eyelashes perfect for a night out on the town, though probably a little too dramatic for daily wear!

I have yet to encounter any lumps on my lashes, though I find that when it starts clumping it usually means the mascara is drying up and ready to be replaced.

This stuff is ophthalmologically tested and suitable for sensitive eyes, and I have never had any trouble with this stuff irritating my eye’s.

To remove it is again very easy, I use a little baby lotion on a cotton pad and it comes away very easily, though on the odd occasion I forget and get up the next morning it also comes off very easily with being rubbed against a pillow, so be warned!

Price wise I purchased this for around the £5.00 mark with it selling for around the £8.00 mark now.

This a great mascara that I really do feel I will be buying again, recommended!
