Rimmel Jelly Gloss

I used to wear a lot of lip gloss when I was younger, but now I'm a bit older I tend to go more with lipstick. I do still own the odd lip gloss though, and one that's still lurking in my make-up bag is Rimmel Jelly Gloss. ~What is it?~ This is lip gloss which comes in a tube. I’ve been waiting forever for Ciao to add this product, I’ve almost finished my tube now! I bought this a few months ago from Super Drug, it cost me the nice little price of £1.99, which is definitely a bargain for something so good. My new little best friend comes in a quite solid plastic tube, it’s flexible enough to squeeze though. It’s about three inches tall and about an inch wide, although it down taper down towards the lid. It’s a typical tube shape to be honest. I bought this, with my Rimmel Blush (see review) at my local chemist's last Friday. I needed a decent new gloss, and the cheap price (£3:49 I think) as well with the attractive packaging, convinced me to buy (especially as there was a distinct lack of choice of brands), but anyway, as always, I've digressed.. Now, I've always avoided these 'jelly glosses' as they sound tacky and childlike and they just haven't appealed to me. I just found this gloss whilst digging around in my make-up drawers. I was given it by my mum a while ago because she'd somehow acquired it and doesn't like wearing lip glosses. I gratefully took it, although wasn't convinced I would like it and as such I've only really worn it on a couple of occasions. To look at, this gloss is nothing special. It comes in a 10ml tube with silver writing and is applied by squeezing the gloss through a hole in the slanted nozzle. Everything about the packaging screams cheap.
