I am a huge Rimmel fan, but I usually tend to just buy the makeup for my face rather than the nail varnish. I wear it but I stopped buying any brand of it for quite a while and concentrated on other things. After a couple of months of doing this I realised all of my other nail varnishes had started to run out! I had a photo shoot coming up that week so off I went in search of a new nail varnish that would suit me.

So there I stood in Boots, browsing all the beautiful colours of different nail varnishes until I stopped in front of the Rimmel booth. After a moment or two I found these cute little bottles with stunning colours in. 'Rimmel-lasting finish nail polish' Lasting finish hmm? Thats always good to hear! The bottles not too bulky (8ml), another good thing. Some fantastic colours. Now for the price - £2.69! Very reasonable!! So I look for a colour that was both stunning and eyecatching, but something I could wear everyday too. Found it! #061 - Exotica! A beautiful deep red colour.

So off I go to the check out and then home! As soon as I get there I'm locked away in my room removing the chipped remains of my last polish and putting on the beautiful new one!
It glides on very very easily, the brush isn't too big so doesn't make a mess of my nails, isn't clumpy at all or too thick so the finished result is a smooth, all-over stunning colour! And the best bit for me, it dries super quickly! I can't stand waiting around for a nail varnish to dry, I'm too impatient and like to get on with other things, so this is a dream for me! It doesn't smell overpowering either.

I think it lasts *fairly* well, it only chips a little bit at first and they're easy enough to go over again quickly.

The only problem I have had with this nail polish is after a while of not using it, it goes a bit clumpy and thick. But a little bit of nail varnish remover in the pot, then mixed in with the brush it goes back to normal!

I definately intend to go back and buy some more of this soon in plenty of other colours!
