Rimmel Magnif'Eyes Mascara

Rimmel seem to have gone into overdrive on the mascara front, every time I look on the Rimmel cosmetics stand there is yet another new and better than the last mascara waiting to be tried and tested. The last mascara that I bought from Rimmel was the `Sexy Curves`, not a bad mascara at all but I found the brush too hard to handle, the oddly shaped brush made it difficult to coat my bottom lashes. As the title suggests, this review is not written from a typical girlie girls viewpoint although naturally it will cover the same sorts of areas about mascara that others will such as packaging, ease of application etc. What the review will do though is give you my own frank and honest opinion of something women take for granted and perhaps try to persuade you that even girls like myself who wear very little makeup on a day to day basis can enjoy wearing a fab mascara such as this. I am still on the hunt for the 'perfect mascara', though I'm beginning to feel the 'perfect mascara' may be as real as the fairy at the bottom of my garden - hard to shake the notion that they really do exist, but however much you hunt, I fear the search will be in vain. Who wouldn't get lulled into thinking that this mascara can REALLY make your eyes look huge, and that it will "lift and extend lashes vertically by 70%" when you look at Kate Moss and all the other models who are in the adverts!? Rimmel is one of my favourite brands, it's not too expensive and the quality's good. In my opinion, mascara is this brand's speciaity as they never seem to disappoint. This mascara retails at £6.99 which isn't bad, it lasts a fairly long time and makes your eyes look lovely. You can buy iy from Boots, Superdrug and many online stores too. This mascara has been one of my all time favorites for a very long time now.I remember being impressed with all Rimmel London mascaras so I decided to try all of them. Needless to say, I did not manage to try every single Rimmel mascara but I tried a fair few and this was the one I liked the best. The packaging is a striking red and black with the name "Magnif'eyes" clearly printed on the tube. I know it doesn't really add to the appeal of the product, but I love the clever pun they used when naming the product!
