When it comes to Mascaras I have found that it can be very hit and miss to whether or not the mascara lives up to the claims. Over the years I have tried endless different ones some more expensive than others and its amazing how many of them are a total let down. A few months ago I entered a competition to win one of 10,000 Rimmel Sexy Curves mascaras on Rimmels website. I don't normally win anything but the odds here were pretty good so I wasn't overly surprised when I received one in the post. I like to change my mascara tube every 6 months for hygiene reasons. I am a bit paranoid about getting eye infections, especially as I use contact lenses. I always like to try out lots of make-up from different brands to find the best ones for me, and this was the case when I bought this mascara by Rimmel when it first came out. I paid an introductory price of £5.99 for this from Boots in the shade Intense black, this and the fact that I like a lot of other Rimmel products being the main reasons why I bought it. Every now and again I do like to change up my make-up and try new things out. I find its way too easy to find yes a great product but then become almost addicted to it or to just buy the same item out of habit. Or to just save the hassle of trawling through all the various brand names as well as the million of different types of the same thing they sell! I have tried so many mascaras and the only one I have found so far that I am happy with is a Clinique one which is expensive so I mainly use it when I’m out at night or weekends. I kind of gave up finding a cheaper brand mascara that is really good, until I heard about this. My friend bought it when we were shopping together and was trying it out when we got home and it worked really well making her eyelashes look really long and full.
