    I have a back garden gate, which has been up for about 6 years now. This garden gate is six feet high but the last one was only five feet high. I had it changed as I was burgled and I ha a lovely new latch put on with a matching bolt at the same time. These gave me more security and as the gate is so high I have not been looked into by burglars so easily now and I think it is more of a deterrent for them. This is what my neighbour says, too. The man came out and suggested I buy a good quality ring gate latch and I bought this directly from the ironmonger’s shop in the town. It cost me £9.99 ... more
