I have my Rio Nitrus for 2 days now and am delighted!! It cost me only £55.00 Delivered, and offers me everything I am looking for in an MP3 Player. It has a 1.5 gig hard drive, which in normal language can store over 300 songs, much more then i needed.
This MP3 player is much better than my previous 256 Flash MP3 player and has so many more features.
The Cool Black Design coating is a great alternative to the 'white' Apple iPod that so many people are used to.
The sound quality is perfect and much better than my previous MP3 player, it offers high quality sound, I think it also uses surround sound, to make a truly magical cinematic experience.
The LCD screen is not the biggest screen i have ever seen, but as the MP3 player is quite small, I think it's a decent size, and shows all the best attributes, such as artist and album.
The only disappoint was the lack of the 'plug and play' system, or drag and drop system where you can just drop files into your MP3 player. This instead is replaced by the quite tricky with the Rio Software that is provided.
Dont let this put you down though, the best part of this Rio Nitrus, was the great bundled headphones that I thought were even better than the iPod headphones, and that is quite a feat to achieve.
The Rio Nitrus is also one of the most robust players, mine has withstood some really powerful shocks that would have certainly damaged an iPod.
Overall, the MP3 Player I have tried, it doesn't have the click wheel, but a simpler MP3 Player compared to the iPod, try the Rio Nitrus
