This is a very good product if you read the instructions carefully and stick to them. Otherwise you will not get a good result. First of all, I would put too much gel on to my nails - I prefer just to do my own nails and not use the extensions - the result of which is that even after using the UV lamp the nails remained tacky!! Now, I have learned to put just one thin layer on, I use the lamp for an extra minute, 4 mins instead of 3 and my nails set well. They last quite a while and when it comes to re-doing them it is far easier to get the gel off if there is only a thin layer.
I made the mistake of initially using a file, or a battery operated "drill" to get rid of the gel, but this made my nails quite thin and they have only just recovered (after two months) so don't make this mstake. Treat the nails gently. All in all a very good product which with experience gets better.
