...I bought this book whilst doing Access to Social Studies and it has become an invaluable resource for me as I am still using this in the first year of my degree. Atkinson makes psychology easier to understand through providing clear definitions, illustrations and diagrams. (I find the personality disorder diagnosis and description table particularly insightful and helpful). The structure of this book is so clearly designed to make life easier for the student as every theory, method etc flows neatly into the next. Finding specific information from this book is quite simple as the index is bursting with key words and the beginning of each chapter provides a clear summary of what is to come. Each chapter also ends with reccomended further reading which can really help to point you in the right direction if you are running low on resources... Read review

Advantages: Superbly written
Disadvantages: Can be a bit hard to understand to some people

...i have recently read this play in school and i thought it was really funny. i am From liverpool and i thought that it was excellent , most people say that they cannot understand educating rita as the language is too hard to understand but most people in my class including me understood the language. Educating rita is all about two characters; Frank And Rita , The play only has these two characters all the way through in one room - the tutorial room (Frank's ofifce). Frank is an old tutor in about his middle 40s and rita is 26 but even though there is an age difference they have a great friendship. I would recommend this play to everyone to see at one stage in their life as it is superbly written by willy russel. I rate Eduating Rita 10/10 **... Read review
