Soft bag for rock guitar

I ordered this Ritter gig bag at the same time as I ordered my Fender Squier, easy enough to do as it was from the same store, and one of the lower priced bags they stocked.
However despite the low cost I was quite impressed with the bag when I unpacked it and made use.

The RCG900-9-E is one of the RitterClassic range of bags, and you do have a choice of three colours: grey, blue, or red. All 3 colour schemes are understated and unfussy. On the neck section you get a stitched RITTER logo and a small metal badge on the front pocket

Access to the main bag is via a long two way zip which reaches from nearly the bottom of the bag, all the way up the side and around the top of the neck section.
Carrying handles on the zip side fastens togther with a velcro grip. There are also rucksack style straps on the back (which I use more often), one of which also contains a small accessory / mp3 pocket (zipped).
On the front are two more zipped pockets. A larger A4 capable pocket which sits behind a slightly smaller pouch which is large enough to house a phone and a midi cable, also my Korg tuner and a set of spare strings (also the couple of tools that came with the guitar) so besides the amp, can carry pretty much all you may need.

The main pouch is padded, and the neck section also has a velcro strap to secure the guitar neck, about 2/3 the way up the neck. The pockets also have quite good padding to protect the guitar, bearing in mind that this is a soft bag though, and not a hard case.
Criticisms ?

Not much really, it is splashproof, but I don't really want to stand under a cloudburst just to check whether it will protect anything inside from the elements.
The main thing which I noticed was the tight fit around the body of the guitar that the bag's shape creates as you zip it around the curve of the body and the strap bolt. It does make things easier to remove the strap from the guitar before you zip it up, but it still has the potential for the chunky zip to scratch the body, especially as the zips don't have any internal protection (like some sleeping bags do to prevent nipping your skin when you zip yourself up).
It is this tight squeeze which has caused a couple of customers of this bag to return it. However if it does fit then most are quite happy with it.
