I had a quick flick through and found bits and pieces that I liked. The range was very limited - don't expect a fat catalogue like some mail order companies send you! But there was a nice selection of different styles. Mainly it was womenswear but there was ... ...size you want! And in River Island, they offer 3 different trouser lengths. Perfect for me who can never find trousers long enough!
The biggest downside (but you have to expect it) is delivery. Not massivly expensive but it's still an extra cost isn't it?! Espcially if you have to send items back. Fortunatly for me I haven't had to do this but unfortunatly for you, I can't tell you what their return system is like.

What I liked most is the clothes they had weren't just the clothes they have in my local (and fairly small) store. They also offered a nice range of shoes in the catalogue.
The biggest bonus about the system (as with all mail order systems) is that you can always (or for a huge majority of the time) get the size you want! And in River Island, they offer 3 different trouser lengths. Perfect for me who can never find trousers long enough!

You can order over the phone or by mail and pay with a range of cards and can pay by cheque too. Marvellous.
My clothes came in good time (3 days) and well packaged. HOWEVER my latest order was made two weeks ago, they told me delivery in 10 days (because they had no stock :( ) and so I rang them today and they assured me my order was on its way...we'll see.
In summary, it's a good system but they need to offer more clothes and have guarenteed delivery time.

I don't know where to start. I've always loved River Island products and generally i'm a fairly easy to please person but do not expect the same service you get from the shops.
I bought something, money was taken from my card but never got item as my item was damaged and 'out of stock'.
Second time I ordered 2 items - got sent a different product and the other was badly damaged.
Mistakes happen i appreciate that but the service I got after that that put the nail in the coffin. I will NEVER use them again. I emailed/sent letters & my points raised were ignored. Eventually I got my money back (after another muck up) but if they'd read my request I was willing to accept a replacement and apology. ...

Quick review of River Island Mail Order Shopping
Pleced an order for express 48 hour delivery on 11th December and i am still waiting almost 2 weeks later!! Can't contact anyone for a refund and none of the managers can be bothered to contact me to resolve this issue. £7 is a lot to pay for express service especially when you don't receive your items!!!!!! Poor customer service and don't rely on their guarantees. I am now receiving emails asking me to confirm that this parcel has been delivered!!! Absolute madness! If they bothered to contact me as requested they would know that this has not been delivered and could therefore amend their records!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ...

I decided to treat myself to a lovely bag, just for the website not to work after i filled in all my details! so i tried a few times after it said "error" and it has added 4 extra orders of the same items, 5x £55.00! When i clicked to order my items an error message came up and said to
try again, so i did and was conned into ordering more than i wanted!!
They have no cancel order button, or any easily accessed help on the subject.
I had to find ... ...made.
Hours later i have still not heard anything back and am really worrying about
£200+ being took out of my bank for no fault of my own!
I am really disapointed with their websites service, i have had so much trouble
with it lately it has put me off internet shopping alltogether. I had never used riverisland.com and i dont think i ever will again! ...
