Now it has moved and is a god send.
How I describe the Mens clothes is as follows.
Quality.

How I describe the Mens clothes is as follows.
Quality. -------- Lovely feeling cloth is used in all of their garments. The material feels like it has been made by a reputable tailors rather than factory lines. Ive never had to take a piece of clothing back there either due to poor construction or premature wear.
Price. ------ A reasonable shop. Its not the "bargain Basement" type shop that befits Mr Byrite and officers Club but is not as expensive as Next or Savoy Tailors Guild. It is somewhere in between. Better quality than top man but equal in price.
Fashion. -------- The clothes are the latest fashions if not the most diverse in styles. This is aimed more at the 20 something market rather than the "latest" teen fashions that affect the likes of Top Man. They do a good range in suits for work and also casual wear. Their Jeans are not the best however and dont exactly look the most trendy in style.
Layout of the shop. ------------------- Racks are too close together in many of their shops. I normally end up knocking garments on the floor and there are not enough mirrors. I know you only need one but they are few and far between.
Extras. ------- The gentlemens extras are quite good. They offer a range of Ties, Belts,hankies,hats, scarves,gloves, etc all year round and have a good selection in Seasonal Xmas presents. I reccomend the In Shower Splash proof Radio for the music lover. a snip at £10!!!
Staff. ------ Not the pushy Pushy "can I help you mate" attitude that befits the Jeans shops i nthe town. I stay away from their "SELL SELL SELL" behaviour. They are polite and friendly and offer assistance if you ask. A mixed staff of men and women help out as you can ask the ladies if they "would find me sexy in this shirt" great chat up lines!
Overall. -------- A good shop to visit. Bargains, fashion and good staff make it a pleasure shopping here.

...as a regular customer at River Island, as when im up town im mainly always in there spending my "hard earned" cash. When looking around in other mens fashion shops in my town such as Top Man and Burtons im always searching the shop for ages looking for the style or thing that i actually want. I never really have this problem in River Island as they are always up to date on Fashion and their is nearly always a thing i have to go get my money out of ... ...of shopping....thats my metaphor for River Island by the way.
The sales in River Island are really good as I was in there just a week back. I was looking through the sale rack, which is most probably last years styles, and came across about 20 items i wanted but unfortunately I didn't have the money no matter how good the sale was. I did buy just the one item though which was a white sweater/jumper with like a grayish splatter design on it. I don't ...

Advantages: Good Quality Clothes. Ok Prices , Nice Clothes Disadvantages: Sales Assistant, Items can be expensive !!
I have shopped in River Island snce about the age of 13. Everytime I get my wages I usually head straigh for there. I love the way the shops laid out. One of the things I Hate about spending my hard earned money in there is the sales assistants. They look down on you as if they are something else!!, and they get a 40% discount on clothes so maybe thats why!!! . Another thing that has made me go off River Island is the prices seem to keep going up ... ...we really need to spend £10 on a pair of stud earings when we can get exactly the same ones for £1.00 !! And I Hate it when you ask for a shoe size and they take forever and come back out and smile and say nope sorry we only have such and such? smiling as if they are happy that they dont have our size!! Argrghh ...

Advantages: suit range Disadvantages: the influx of brand names, inflated prices.
River Island used to to symbolise the youth fashion culture of the nineties. All us men (and women) can all remember that first night out on the town. Under-age and nervous of getting into that special club or bar wishing to dance the night away. Invariably i do, and i remember that River Island were my clothes supplier of the time. Have things changed?
Nowadays, the clothes i seem to purchase don't really come from the metal rack of my local River ... ...a generation in the whole? River Island is now a hunting fest for the kids that like the german brand name Kickers. Remember those? Different coloured tags that you used to collect and put on your key rings or shoelaces! Well, now they don't stop at making shoes they now stock River Island with clothes, yes distressing i know. When i was in my teen years, the craze that swept through our brains were kickers but now you wouldn't see me with a kickers ...

...as I used to like River Island clothing, but things appear to have changed lately. I used to spend a fortune every month about 2 years ago, but since just before their image change/re-branding (whatever you like to call it), they seem to have a really poor and limited supply of clothing. What clothes they do seem to have, appears very bland and boring. All the clothes look the same, and they just don't seem to have moved from the 90's style. I can ... ...main problem I have with River Island, isn't one of their own brand, its Kickers. Now I actually own a hell of a lot of it. But it's not so much the clothes I'm complaining about - it's their shoes.

...can't get enough of it. River Island is by far the best men shop there is. I have to admit that Next and Topman are probably a little cheaper, but since River Island revamped themselfs a year or so a go there has been no stopping them.
The quality of the clothes are supurb! I recently bought a jumper which i basically live in at the moment, a shirt, of which the quality is brilliant for only £24! Wow!!! every time I go shopping I have to go in a ... ...The customer service at River Island is next to none! They are so friendly they will do anything for you. I have recently bought a jacket and a pair of shoes from them. The jackets they had in the shop were the wrong size, so they offered to look around other stores and find me one which they did within a few days. And then theres the shoes. I first started shopping in RiverIsland when I was about 14 years old. Back then all I could afford to buy from this store was clothes from the sale rail! RiverIsland doesn't follow fashion as such as much as other high street stores. By this I mean their clothes have quite a classic look and every year they will stock similar clothes to the year before. Their clothes are generally smart looking, even their casual range is more like smart-casual. They like their glitter and sparkle at RiverIsland, and they will often include glitter, sequins, diamonte and jewels on all types ...

Although this is one of my favourite shops, i have to admit im not as much of a fan as what i used to be in my teens! At school i was nicknamed miss riverisland, as everything i wore was from there. Recently though, i find the collection of clothing a little more limited to certain styles than what it used to be. RiverIsland caters for those who like to follow fashion whilst keeping their own twist on it so you can stand out from the crowd. They also have a very stylish menswear collection available.
SIZES
As i am petite, i love the fact that riverisland cater for the smaller girl with their range of trousers and jeans, the sizes range from a size 6 to an 18, and the leg lengths on trousers come in short, regular or long.
