Roc creams have been available for sometime now, and are quite well known to be an expensive brand, and have a high retinol content. Previously I have used one of their eye creams, and after finding it worked really well, I thought about trying the night cream.

The claims ```````````````` Complete lift night is a nourishing cream that combines the new Roc "firm lift" anti-ageing technology, with minerals and a "hydrating complex" for a multi-benefit action and skin that is regenerated night after night. Each morning your skin is hydrated and looks lifted and firmer, while your wrinkles appear smoother. Cosmetic lifting to the upper layers of the epidermis.
Application ```````````````` Apply finger dabs of this cream and massage in circular motions until the whole face and neck area has been moisturised. This cream has a high chemical content so I would strongly advise avoiding the eye area.
Personal experience ````````````````````````````
As before I applied four or five dabs of the cream onto my face and around the jaw line. My skin has been alittle dry of late, so I have had to apply more than I would normally need. After application, my skin absorbed the moisturiser quite well, although there were areas which felt alittle greasy. My skin started to fell taught, not uncomfortable, however it made me question the amount applied. The areas which felt tighter were around the eye area and the sides of my mouth up to my cheek bones, and slightly more taught on the forehead. After 30-45 minutes, I could feel a slight irritation, I just wanted to itch my face, I thought about the amount I had applied, although I remembered I had experienced this before. Therefore I would not recommend this for sensitive skin types.
The morning after, my skin feels softer, and alittle smoother, although the taught feeling has gone, and those pesky fine lines are still there to greet me.
The packaging and container ```````````````````````````````````````` The best way I can describe the packaging, is clinical, it is some what of a dull box, grey in colour with the standard Roc label. The ingredients are in tiny writting on the reverse of the box, as are the instructions, the ingredients are a long list of various chemicals which dont sound very appealing. When you get a whiff of this cream, you certainly pick up the chemicals in this, although the smell is bearable.
The tub is clear glass, which is good as you can see how much you have left, and for the price of this moisturiser, this is pretty important.
My conclusion ````````````````````
This night cream has a high retinol content, so it is important to apply only one of this type of moisturiser, to restrict the levels of retinol your skin is exposed to. Sensitive skin types may be able to get away with applying this product every other night, allowing one night in between for skin to recouperate. However, if you have really sensitive skin I would not recommend using this moisturiser.
My skin type fluctuates between normal, slightly dry with an oily t-zone. Whislt using this moisturiser, I definatley felt an improved elasticity to my skin, specifically around my eyes and mouth area, although I think continual use is needed to sustain this effect.
However, there has been no sign of improvement to my fine lines and expression lines, my eye area is slightly smoother in contour. This moisturiser has lasted quite well, which is good considering the price of this cream.
I will continue to look for alternative moisturisers, as this is out of my budget and simply does not do anything that remarkable to my skin.
There is a fair range of products available, from; Anti-stretch mark Body Cleansing Complete lift Hydra+ Hydra+ destressant Renewex Retin-ox Retin-ox illuminator Retin-ox multi correction
Out of all of these products I have used three of them, two being eye creams, as with many things I suppose they may have mastered the eye creams, and still have room for improvement with other products. It may be worth trying Roc products, although I wouldnt be first out of the house to purchase them.
